Okay. I resized it. But I don't have your email. So I sent it to Replaced Texan. Why? I don't know. She is now the keeper of the kitty. NTTAWWT.

I love the new avatar. Keep it. Don't bring back the cat. Yet. Fuck Diane!

P.S. My new avatar is a joke that has long since grown stale. I need something new, and not borderline pornographic. My old avatar was actually my puppy.

P.P.S. I am still working. Why, fringey, why?

Why think when I can just shoot from the hip and curse, spew and wave the flag when someone challenges me? Funny to see you playing the straight man after the ludicrous piles of shit you threw up on this board for the past few months.

But talking out of both sides of your mouth is the new patriotism too, so I guess that criticism fails... I guess I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't.
Ummm, Iran's Government killed a 14 year old boy for eating before sundown. America is a really violent country, kids are killed to steal their sneakers- I even remember a murder in Detroit because someone took too big a sip from a guy's coke- But, and this is key- the Government doesn't typically go that far- unless you're saying Clinton had Shepard killed to jump start Democratic support in the mid-term elections.....

But it says that the killers agreed not to talk to the media, so it's unclear if they were much of a source at all, even leaving aside the question of their credibility.

Did the episode actually air earlier? Did it show that this was a botched meth deal? And did it provide solid evidence of that?
Look, just trust Slave on this. I'm only saying this cuz its anon- Slave paid his way through school working in the same Posse as those guys- He'll be the one on 20/20 in shadow talking about the pressure to bring in the bling and how it helped ease his transition into Biglaw.

You actually think there is such an episode? I searched the ABC site and the only reference to Matthew Shepard is this one. A Google search comes up with a bunch of references to this ABC press release but none of them are on an ABC site or a hard news site. I smell a hoax.

My prediction for 2005:

Trent Lott will reveal himself to be a judicial activist by unveiling a brand-new and politically convenient interpretation of the Constitution.

Trent's dead, but everyone's been too polite to tell him. He could piss Cristal while levitating on national television and no one would give a shit.

Here's a good rule - no more male cheerleaders in public office. That a guy who plays with pom poms and wears more hairspray than Star Jones can be considered a right wing paragon of values shows you just how utterly fucked the gene pool in the deep south really is.

The fastest way to deal with the red state problem would be for us Northerners to agree with the South the next time it advocates literacy tests for voting. My guess is Jim Crow would be most discriminatory toward whites in the current uneducated swamp we have in this country.

Once again, you've made a muddled mess of whatever it was you were trying to say. Are you articulation-challenged, or have you been talking out of both sides of your mouth so long that the syllables just get all mixed up when they're rolling out of your blubbering lips? Make sense and I'll reply to you. I can't even tell if the above is a joke or some embarrassing attempt at being profound.

Ttpical fucking lawyer shit. Matthew Shepard was killed because he was gay. The heartland hates gays. There's tons of evidence of it. i don't have it here, but you're a fool if you don't recognize it. You're story has no real support. You're a fucking apologist for everything. Your have a history of trying to cite facts which supports specious positions. Thats what you lawyers and left wingers do - you spin things. You know he was killed because he was gay. I know it. America knows it. Why don't you just...

Shutup.

I'm talking, SHUT UP!!!

SHUT UP!!!

You know how you say the Gilligan posts are played? Well, I have to admit they are to some degree. They were a limited, but quite profound response to a particular poster. If all I did was Gilligan posts then my entire ouerve would be played. I am more than just Gilligan posts though. Plus, due to some poor programming decision in 1969 I am limited to only 86 Gilligan posts, or I'd have to repeat. I refuse to repeat a Gilligan post.

Interestingly, everything I said above applies to your Gonzo style posts, except for the limit to 86 posts and the alternative styles.

One must admire the standards here, although at some point I imagine you'll inevitably be limited by Gilligan's remaining body of work.

Those who care will be watching to see evidence of Hank mailing it in, trying to discard odd episodes like the shit cards in 5 card stud. If, for example, you manage to find a legitimate opportunity to work in the Carmen homage episode, I will be truly impressed.

The treatment by whom?

I had some fairly high hopes for Ms. Rice when she was appointed National Security Advisor. She has an impressive resume. I have been less impressed by her subsequent job performance, not least because she has been put out by the administration as a public face. The National Security Advisor should be almost invisible to the public. She's not a spokesman, she's an advisor. Says so right in her title. If she's talking to me on the TV, she's not talking to the President. Anyway. I don't think the attacks on her are any different from (or any less warranted) than the attacks on, say, John Ashcroft when he was nominated for AG. People disagree with things she has done politically.

Something I noticed yesterday I thought was quite curious: when introducing Ms. Rice as future Secretary of State and Ms. Spellings as future Secretary of Education, the President, when handing over the podium to each woman for her to make remarks, gave each woman a light hug and a kiss on the cheek. Two days in a row. I didn't see highlights of Mr. Gonzales's introduction, so I have no idea if he got a kiss as well, although I suspect not, since that Phelps guy isn't currently picketting the White House.

I'm just wondering if this is really appropriate. Not the idea of the polite kiss between friends in general, but whether it's appropriate for THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

I just think it's weird, is all.

Right Wing Conspiracy.

The cartoons, the lack of hoopla for the first femal/black SOS (especially as compared to Albright), the parrot talk, etc.
