I really can't envision a demo president again in my lifetime. I wonder if the party will even be around 20 years from now?

I wish Iraq was justified just to kill guys what need killing instead of the whole WMD thing.
What if we fake towards Syria, nuke Iran, then hit the Pakistan hills with airborne. Play action.

There would be a lot of soiled big boy underpants in the blue state enclaves of NYC, SF, Chicago et al. Just the thought of it is probably enough of a cautionary warning to many of the posters on this board to cause a run on Walmart's stock of Depends.

Most of these guys don't have a Walmart Preferred Card. they're buying their adult diapers at full mark up somewhere that advertises the things are bio degradable.

The demise of the left
On the Today Show this morning, leading leftwing idiot and rabblerouser Al Franken was on to promote his new book (the poorly named) The Truth and voiced his tasteless arseholish and irresponsible opinion regarding the fate of White House aides if indicted, to wit, So I think that Rove and Libby will be executed.
Unbelievable that none of the rank and file demos here have the class to denounce such catshite commentary.
Imagine if Bush said the Hillary and Bill will eventually be executed for their treason related to Able Danger and their cavorting with the RedChinese?!!?!? The NYTimes would blow a hole the size of Little Rock in its editorial board's collective diapers.
It's sad that there appears to be so little decency in the liberal camp these days.

Sadly I think the leading lights of the dimwit establishment show more respect for the office of assistant-chief leftist arseclown, which Franken occupies, than they do for the office of the President.
Although judging the way they lauded Clinton, an overgrown adolescent sex criminal, who had so much respect for his office that as part of his Presidential business day he included activities such as masturbating in the sink in front a barely legal subordinate employee, the left in America must truly despise our most hallowed institutions.

Yes, and while we're at it, why don't we cure cancer. Oh, and end hunger and conquer poverty.
I would LOVE to see Bush go on TV and try to convince the country we need to invade Syria. Single digits, ahoy! On the other hand, he's enough of a bubble boy to try it.

And let the other two sections to the country go free. Wouldn't it be ironic if the US accomplished what the Baath parties in both countries promised to do but never delivered. Arab unity.

Arab unity would further the interests of the US -- how? There's a great selling point - let's unify the people who want to destroy us. Going to sell them arms too, while you're at it? Why do Republicans hate America so?

He doesn't need to convince the country moron. He got a mandate to be Commander in Chief last November. The adults are in charge now, they don't have to do an opinion poll everytime they want to make a leadership decision. You will be left crying into your koran with your Pali and Al Qaeda comrades when the Red, White and Blue rolls into Damascus. Boo hoo.

A United democratically elected Arab leadership will bow to the forces of the market and have their extremism rendered neutered. Or we will nuke them into submission.

By that time, the Army will have lowered their standards so far that even 50 year old guys can enlist, and you'll be able to get that tour of the Holy Land you always wanted. And Uncle Sam will pay for it!
The pope can pucker up baby and kiss my ass. I don't listen to what some creepy Lord High Pedophile has to say about a thang.

You've not been reading the talking points at all, have you, boy?
The "arabs" are our friends. "Islam" is a religion of peace. It's only the bastardizers of the religion of peace that have taken it to the jihad.
Right?
(I can't keep catching and rescuing you guyz. Get with your program.)

Bush Administration Braces for the Large Sex Toy of Unpleasantness
Says WaPo:
- Officials described a White House on edge. "Everybody just wants this week over," said one official.
The key figures in the probe, including Rove and Libby, yesterday attended staff meetings and planned President Bush's next political and policy moves. Others sat nervously at their desks, fielding calls from reporters and insisting they were in the dark about what the next 24 hours would bring.
But officials are bracing for the kind of political tsunami that swamped Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan in their second terms and could change this presidency's course.
Shame. Damn shame.

by now, I'd think you guys would be embarassed from your past 50 "here comes the end" stories to at least wait until something hits before gloating.
Or do you fear that this is going to fall flat like all your other stories, so you have to gloat now?

Could be an interesting report, too:
"Fitzgerald has looked closely not only at the possible crimes, but also the context in which they would have been committed. This search, say lawyers in the case, has provided him a rare, glimpse into the White House effort to justify the Iraq war and rebut its critics.
The trail has often led to Cheney's office, which officials describe as ground zero in the effort to promote, execute and defend the Iraq war and the campaign to convince Americans and the world that Saddam Hussein had amassed a stockpile of the most dangerous kinds of weapons."
This Fitzgerald is a Republican, isn't he? Who'd have thought that he would hate America so, and give aid and comfort to our enemies?
Tsk. Tsk.
