Hey Hank! More on Roth.
This is about the best description of David Lee Roth's morning show that I have heard so far -- from a friend of mine.
I quote:
"Listening to this guy was a slow death. It's killing me. I'd rather punch myself in the balls until I puke. Instead I think I'll just make sure the MP3 player's battery is charged or cancel my Netflix and get a Sirius radio. I can't say I've actually heard a better argument for subscribing other than this... the largest, longest, most painful satellite radio ad ever."
So there you have it.

Apropos of nothing, Fungus 53 on XM was playing Black Flag's "Slip it in" last night when I got into my car.
Love the XM.

Great album cover. Someone should use that as an avatar.

I am partial to Hair Nation on Sirius. It's not every day you can hear a Pretty Boy Floyd song in your car.

Maybe it is every day that you can hear that now. Especially with the 6 hour program loops...

Serves him right.
- Kirk: Does she know what she's getting, Spock? A carcass full of memory banks who should be squatting on a mushroom instead of passing himself off as a man. You belong in a circus, Spock, not a starship -- right next to the dog-faced boy.

Help Needed
I have been working with janitorial staff at Flower's firm, as well as his family members, to collect flakes of skin, hairs, fingernail clippings, etc. My plan was to assemble a life-size, airtight replica of The Flower which I would then fill with helium, float from the end of a string, and present to a Certain Super-Special Someone on her half-birthday. I've made good progress, but the date is nearing and I'm short of materials. If anyone has any stray bits of The Flowers skin, hair, etc., please send them to me so I can make this a half-birthday for her to remember!
TIA

Remember that time that str8 had something "really funny" he wanted to post, but he thought it was too long, so he requested help from members of the lawtalkers community to get his really funny idea into a format that was postable, so RT coordinated with him, and finally at some point, after much fanfare, he posted something that really wasn't funny at all?
This reminds me of that. But without all the effort.

I liked the idea of constructing someone from flakes of skin and hairs that fell off and stuff. But the half-birthday aspect just confused it and kind of ruined it for me.
But we all make mistakes. Everyone is doing the best they can in a difficult situation. Etc.

What else would be my motivation for wanting a balloon? I'm open to revisions, if that will help get this in pre-production.
