Actually, no. Not recurring characters, but hilarious nevertheless. The Jimmy's ending is one of the best endings of any episode: Mel Torme and a seemingly retarded* Kramer singing "The Whole World Smiles With You"

Bookman was perfect for the episode but that character would not have had any legs like Jackie OR George Steinbrenner to show up in more plots.
