Bad Rhymes
Did anybody see this piece on the 20 Worst Crime Rhymes in pop music history? I think they really phoned it in here. While some of the songs mentioned are pretty bad, I think any list that doesn't include

And if you are going to put a Police song on the list, it shouldn't be Walking on the Moon -- the crime there is that it's totally illogical, not a bad rhyme -- it should be Don't Stand So close to Me, for

I've made it pretty clear on the PB where I come out on the rules vs. discretion thing, and this is just another example, I guess. Your second sentence here makes as much sense to me as saying, if prosecutors are going to have some discretion, why have criminal laws at all? So, I agree to disagree.
