My random thoughts:

Boy, some of those people auditioning were really bad. Don't they realize they can't sing? Some of them were sort of funny, though.

Some of the people auditioning were pretty good. I wonder if one of them will be the next American Idol?

Denver looks like a city in Colorado.

Simon sure is mean.

ANtiCifucking-pation.

But it's been all reruns for the last two years. Sometimes a 1st or 2nd season rerun, which is better than a 3rd season rerun, but it's still something I've seen before.

for those of you who haven't seen the show you might equate this to your reaction to Shape Shifter's posts over the past several years. it does track closely.
The new season starts in March, I think.

You have a TV, which automatically disqualifies you. Piker.

I always suspected "hot boobs" were a career advantage.

I had never seen this show until recently, but I have to admit that from what I've seen thusfar (Seasons 1 & 2), I am becoming a fan. Should I stop watching now?

BTW, I did not realize until yesterday that the guy who plays "Uncle Junior" was also "Johnny Ola" in GFPtII. That was driving me crazy, because I knew I recognized his voice.

Dead on, except that I'm usually in boxers, sipping a Miller Lite can and giggling at the sound of my own farts.

This sort of gels with my friend's theory that TV shows generally have two good years at the start and then go downhill after that, leaving fans bitter and jaded at the end of the run six or seven year run.

What happens after a twenty year run? Will ER ever die? (other than the metaphorical death that it suffered in 1997 or so when I stopped watching it)

I had no idea it was still on until I spent the weekend catching up on Tivo and caught the opening credits for it right after The Office.

"The Simpsons" is stumbling around like Willie Mays at the end of his career.

ER is now Grey's Anatomy.

ETA: My bad. Actually, Grey's Anatomy is an hour long Scrubs, for people who like Scribs, but want a patient to die each episode.

Indeed. I was just watching my Season V DVD and there is no comparison between the quality then and now.

In other news, I still like Law and Order. It's very reliable.

There was a spot in the early or mid-90s where Conan O'Brien or some of his people were writing for the show that I view as its peak. Loads of oddball references and absurd bits (those were the years when Homer emerged from disgruntled dim father into full-on buffoon).

Proof that Kate Moss is still on drugs.

Because it's really slow on the board, and because NFH no longer seems to be around:

Kate Moss and Jack Osbourne an item?

Jack Fucking Osbourne? Jesus.
