Short answer -- they suck.
I don't know. They have a lot of young, unproven guys. The few young guys who had really good years last year aren't having the same kind of year this year. They took chances on a few veterans as reclamation projects to fill some holes who haven't panned out as everybody had hoped (see Mota).
They weren't getting to Wickman very often. Wick, while he often made things an adventure, was reliable. Then again, if you aren't getting into save situations with your middle relievers, he's not going to do you much good. Carmona? Who knows? He closed with some success in the minors, but whether that translates to the bigs is anyone's guess.
They let Riske go at the end of last year -- even though he's not the second coming, he's generally pretty steady, and you knew what you got with him.
They miss Bobby Howry really badly -- his loss was huge.
Are you asking this to make up for the froo froo shaving cream discussion?

You're welcome. I, on the other hand, have never heard of Dizzee Rascal. If you don't think of Joe Jackson, it's you're own damn fault for having made serious musical lapses.

DO you think Cruise will be able to get those plum roles that he was losing to Gibson before? Simply writing that statement reveals its inanity. Moreover, Mel will continue to choose his own projects, and produce them through his own Icon production company. He might get less favorable terms with distributors (Disney) on Icon's future movies, but that won't affect Cruise/Wagner's terms with Paramount et al. Cruise/Wagner is not Icon's main competition -- they make ultra-mainstream pictures. Cruise/Wagner are not in the best position to fill the void left from Gibson's presumptive demise.
I guess we'll find out if Mel has alienated himself from his audience once his zany fucking Mexican Mayan/Inca/Whatever Apocalypto movie comes out. When it doesn't do anything close to "Passion of the Christ"-level business, which it won't, people will blame it on the DUI/anti-semitic stuff. This is also stupid. The real reason is that far fewer people want to pay to see a movie about Mexican indigeneous peoples than about their lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Disney is on full blown spin control now. We'll see how Apocalypto does. I would guess $15M first weekend.

Hard to tell if she has (or doesn't have) them in those shots. That's why I'm waiting for the movie (or more exposure, sts). But they don't have to be big, as long as the waist is small and the stomach flat.
<sniff.> I miss the 10-toed Halle. <sniff.>

If this post included something about you and Yale, I would have to submit it to the Sports Guy for consideration for an Unintentional Comedy award.
You've got to be kidding -- and yet, the length and detail of this ridiculous post, combined with your pathetic attempts at constantly trying to show us what a knowledgeable insider you are, make it clear that you are not.
You started off well. If you had just posted, "This is a stupid analogy. Aside from the fact that both are A list actors and producers, I have no idea what you're talking about," you would have made me look silly based on my last post directed at you. Instead, we get "Don't mess with me when it comes to the entertainment industry, bitch!" Ha. And it comes after your post about time-and-a-half. That's rich.
The joke in the post you quoted was that Tom Cruise should be happy that all the negative attention is finally on someone else. But thanks for the laugh, Ari.

No. I was just pissed off because you guys should have swept a four game series with Boston that would have put us in first by 3 games. But we can talk about froo froo shaving cream again, if you want.
