okay that was my dinner last night. it turns out 11 kinds of animals died, not 9. Chorizo does have both beef and pork, but the surprise is that brandade is salted cod, so it died too.
Translation: IRL I make Fringey and TW look like Ethiopian refugees.

YAY, ME!!!

Yesterday was the NYC Marathon, and I FINISHED IT!!!

I had never run more than 12 miles (though I did that a lot), and was pretty scared about not finishing. It wasn't a blistering speed time or anything, but I finished.

Other than childbirth, that was the hardest physical thing I've ever done. My legs hurt today like never before. I don't know how all you people do those endurance races. Damn.
