Interesting question, actually. I'd like to say "sure, it can be hot," but I'm trying to think of a red headed actor/whatever that I find attractive, and the closest I can come is Robert Redford, who isn't really redhaired - maybe you could call him "strawberry blonde," but even that is a stretch. Seth Green? Sort of hot, sometimes, but ....

Now I'm trying to think of red haired actors:
David Caruso - not hot.
Seth Green - eh, attractive sometimes in a weird way, but I think it has more to do with the fact that I am fond of short men.
Eric Stoltz - not hot.
Ron Howard - not hot.
Woody Allen - not hot.
Red buttons - not hot.
Danny Kaye - not hot.
Harpo Marx - not hot.
Carrot top - not hot.

I'm going with the trend in Reality TV as the next sign that we are in the glorious decline portion of the American Empire - http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...DGEJ5T4TQ1.DTL (TV critic discusses "The Swan" and other plastic surgery television). My favorite part:

"What's to be made of some young girl trying to look like Winslet, of all people? Isn't that light-years more revolting than the butt implants on "Nip/Tuck"? Why would anyone want to look like Britney now, much less in 10 fat years? Lack of self-esteem, clearly, with a side of self-loathing and a television-fueled celebrity-fixation chaser."

Less (looking forward to reality imitating art when TV, with the appropriate waivers, puts "The Running Man" out) inSF

I've been looking forward to the real life Running Man for years. Each year we are getting closer. Exponentially closer.

This story made my day.

Pompous ass judge asks which "idiot" let recidivist serial burglar out on bail; somebody hands him a mirror.

I disagree on this one--I think he's quite yummy.

I've always had a thing for red hair, and had raging crushes on a couple different red-haired guys (one with green eyes, one with blue) in high school and college. Both of them were way better-looking than any of the guys on your list. I had a crush on another red-haired guy post law school, but he was more joli-laid.

I ended up with a red-bearded blondie, and then of course Magnus was born with red hair (it's since lightened to strawberry blond).

Well, someone obviously does, I've never gotten it, though.

Still trying to think of famous redheads for the women's consideration:

Thomas Jefferson - sort of hot, but really dead.
Conan O'Brien - not hot.
Damien Lewis - not hot.
Prince Harry - not hot.

Very strangely, in my casual perusals I've found both Charles Dance and David Bowie cited as "famous redheads." I don't think so.

Lenin -- kinda hot, actually
Stalin -- not hot, unless you have a thing for mass murderers
Krushchev -- not hot (should keep his shoes on)
Brezhnev -- not hot
Andropov -- not hot
Chernenko -- downright icy
Gorbachev -- birthmark is a big turn-off

There's nothing really work inappropriate that I saw. It's drawings and text. The last page contains his murder plan.

Here are some articles on the murder.

That diary is so disturbing. I'm amazed at how people can turn into killers without anyone noticing. Then again, denial is a powerful thing. No one wants to believe that their child/cousin/sibling/friend/student is capable of cold blooded murder.

On a cheerier note, South Park tonight was brilliant. Did you know that Mel Gibson's Passion was a snuff film?

I think Seth Green and Eric Stolz are hot. The others I agree are not hot. I guess I don't mind red haired guys.
