4) With a rotation of Mussina, Contrareas and Lieber, they desperately need pitching, so they overpay for the overweight Colon. Miss out on opportunity to regain Eric Milton and Javier Vasquez
5) Lose out in the battle for Kaz Matsui

They win 90 games - go nowhere.
