Are we talking about the slavatar? That was hosted in a couple of different places and I think they went to Red X from both but it may have been a deletion from the original site. Not sure of the facts.

The pic is being hosted by a private, exclusive, members only yahoo chat room.

I'm sorta surprised it didn't end up on some sock, but who knows the night is young. The yahoo club pictures never show up elsewhere. If you have a yahoo account, you can always try uploading it to http://photos.yahoo.com and see what happens. If that doesn't work, try a google search for "picture hosting" and you'll find lots of sites that may work.

Amazing Race application

Should we field a lawtalkers team?
Thanks for posting this. Reading the application, they have a separate paragraph specifying families, including non-traditional families. However, its doesn't seem entirely clear if its a.) limited to families and, b.) if (a), how families are defined by relationship.

Nevertheless, I already talked to a family member about it. The first thought is that we could do our own interviews within our extended family to see who is best suited to travel with us. The first few questions that came to mind included, can you bench-press 2 Hellos? Can you carry Hello on your back for 1/2 a mile barefoot?

Coming up with 4 family members to do this with, even in a family with more than 50 first cousins and aunts/uncles aged 12 or over, seems like a bit of a challenge.

Hello

Evicting Gators

Mom threw her son's gator cub out of the house. Article says throwing them out isn't uncommon on Long Island and they often die of exposure in the winter.Article

Jesus. You go to all this trouble, and you forget about Linda Fiorentino?

What the fuck is wrong with you?

I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally doubt you went to my HS. Unless you are not what you claim to be, and Slave is not what he claims to be.

I was avoiding this board all day so as not to have TAR spoilt. So I think I missed my chance for a witty rejoinder. But rest assured it would have been witty. And a rejoinder. Something insouciant and PLF-esque. Or like the great giant genius of yore who don't come around no more. Wait, it's coming to me . . . hold on . . .

No, it's gone now. That'll learn me.

You were so close . . .

Though, sometimes I wish I were so powerful. e.g., wish I'd been able to cause stealth bombing of str8's office when he was such a moron.

edited to add picture. Pictures!!!!! And to note that I would like him to survive the bombing. I'm sure those "bomber" things don't really work anyway.
Please wish it on the building adjacent to mine so that the lame duck wicked witch (come to think of it, there's two of them, witches) can get what they deserve for inflicting the hugely overbudget and creatively bankrupt world's-worst-remake-and-biggest-waste-of-a-good-cast-ever-that-dare-not-speak-its-name on us all last summer, that cost me and everyone else here any chance of having a decent bonus. Grrrrrr.

Any FBers holding econ degrees from Princeton or law degrees from NYU are hereby asked to tear up their diplomas and voluntarily re-enroll in a nearby college to obtain a valid replacement degrees. You were taught by an idiot and your education might not be valid.

Candles on a Christmas tree IN FEBRUARY? The origins of Republican tax policy are slightly clearer to me today.

Now I know where str8 did his undergrad work.

And forget the candles, a CHRISTMAS TREE in February?

American Idol

In addition to thinking that last night's show was weak, the Cleveland Fox station lost its feed right when the Judges were talking to the three fat guys (the team that includes the psycho looking dude from Cleveland) about whether they were going on or not. The feed was down for several minutes, and when it came back, Simon was bitching to some other group about how their routine was not funny, blah, blah, blah. I have to assume that Cleveland psycho guy is going on because he had a brief spot in the previews for next week.

I was left wondering the same thing. And funny you should mention him, but every time I see that guy, I think of this guy.

I keep wanting to shout at the screen, "WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION, PRIVATE PYLE?"
