Bono just wants all of you to know that he was into A Love Supreme before everybody else thought it was cool, although I think the Grateful Dead would claim that they invented thinking Coltrane was cool.

I looked for the nudity post but I couldn't find it. So if someone can and can give me a post number please let me know.
On a different subject, though I was reminded of this while looking for the nudity post, how much should I tip my movers?
They charge about 100 an hour, expect to be around for about 5 hours. There are three of them. Remember we are in the burg here so things are not as costly as say NY or LA or even Philly.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

tip = $50 - $10x, where x is the number of things broken.

If they are moving you while nude, I think this is entirely dependant on their relative hotness. Most movers I have used would actually lose money this way.

Dear Penthouse Forum:
I never dreamed that I'd be writing to you, but I just had to share this experience I had while at my job moving furniture. You see, there was this girl......

It is a slang expression. It comes from hip hop culture. It is often kind of they the same as saying "Hey." As in "Yo, what's up?" It is very "hip" with the kids these days now that this rap music stuff has gotten so popular (which I totally do not understand given that most of it is just somebody talking over somebody else's music).

Eminem said it in one of his songs, so it may be Polish, too.

In that case, a round of Vanilla Lattes (no foam) should do it.
Venti, though.

So I still should have tipped mine after they broke three photo frames last time I moved (dropped book of law school books and box with knick-knacks down entire flight of stairs, leaving glass shards and crap everywhere)? I don't think so.*

It is holiday time, so from my DC perspective (where hourly rates are also a lot higher) I would suggest at least $50 per guy if you're happy with their efficiency and care and you have no unusually heavy items or lots of stairs to climb and the weather isn't terribly nasty. Moving is lousy work.

When I last moved, oh about 4 years ago, I tipped $100 per mover (there were three) and gave them pizza and beer when they were done. This made the two dish installer guys happy because they got off the roof just in time for pizza (they only got $50 tips).
edited to add that about half of the furniture was delivered by various furniture stores -- house held more than apartment we moved from -- and those scored $20 tips.
There is no rhyme or reason for why I tipped in such vastly differing amounts. Moving upset my equilibrium.

You brought it upon yourself for moving both your law school books and knick knacks, Mlle. Pacque Ratte.
