Yep. Tiger sure does like those cute white women. Too bad he prefers them to the cute black women. This is a problem.

I didn't say that. People just jumped to that conclusion from what I said and I didn't correct their misperception. You want to know why? 'Cuz I think they are fucking assholes and got a good laugh out of it.

Huh? I don't even know what you are talking about. If it is about some link you posted today, I apologize but I haven't had time to read everything on this board. I am grief stricken and enraged over that beheading and also trying to work at the same time.

Speaking of less-than-politically-correct food analogies, this isn't really an analogy (and belongs on the FB but I am too lazy to click over) did anyone else hear that KFC offered that black guy on the apprentice an endorsement contract? Jesus, the only thing that would have been worse is if the US Watermelon growers had offered him one.

Hey, at least they didn't say "hotter than Nagasaki circa 1945." Now that would have been offensive.

At least Nagasaki was hot. So it would have been an issue of taste, not logic.

On the other thing, go back and click on Panda's second link. You'll be outraged. The Pentagon wanted to bomb this guy's outfit before the war but the White House -- which was using Ansar al-Islam's presence in a part of Iraq outside of Saddam's control to imply that there was a link between him and AQ -- said no because it would undermine support for the war. Now he's cutting off American's heads.

So, are you saying that wasabi isn't hot? Where are you getting your wasabi? If that is what you are saying, it is because you are not getting real wasabi. In most sushi places, what they give you as wasabi is a horseradish concoction dyed green with food coloring.

Try real wasabi - I mean the plant - then tell me what you think. It may not be as hot as a scotch bonnet, but it is much more sophisticated. Real wasabi, not the wasabi paste served in sushi places (that is usually horseradish-based), is a delicacy.

Why didn't they bomb Zarqawi?

According to the story Not Me posted earlier today: "The Web site said Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a top ally of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was the man who cut off Berg's head. The statement read out before the killing was signed off with Zarqawi's name and dated May 11."

Here is the story about how the White House vetoed Pentagon plans to try to take out Zarqawi.

My breast implants

Pam's first set are alot like mine. Mine are a bit smaller, but the shape, slope, cleavage, areola (mine are much pinker), are very close.

[SPREE - naked boobs:

Her new ones are grotesque, so if you see pictures of those, mine look nothing like that. I hate the way her current super-sized implants look.

Wrong board. Please take it elsewhere.

I don't really want to discuss it. It is obvious that you are just pissed off to learn that you have been eating dyed-green horseradish masquerading as wasabi for all these years and are shooting the messenger. Not that this is any kind of metaphor for your marriage or anything.

Geesh. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I liked you better when you were powerless AntiquiTy/IniquiTy/InsaniTy, etc, etc, and so forth.

Fuck you Mr. Moderator.

We Shall Overturn

Florida town reconsiders renaming a street Martin Luther King, apparently due to Chris Rock joke (or the underlying truth that makes the joke funny- concession to anticipated NM post).

Quote:
Fla. Town Changes MLK Jr. Street Name

Tuesday, May 11, 2004

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — The City Council reached a compromise Monday in the dispute over renaming a street for Martin Luther King Jr. (search) — an issue that exposed racial tension in this town best known for its bottled spring water.

"The council had been poised to rescind naming the street in honor of King after months of dissent from opponents and residents of the avenue who claimed they didn't want to change their addresses and weren't consulted.

Others said renaming a street after King could hurt the town's economy, as streets named after him frequently run through depressed neighborhoods.
And don't be expecting us all to meet up at the ceremony renaming Haight "Atticus Grinch Ave." anytime soon. There'd be too much opposition.
Quote:
Ben Youmans, who lives on Sixth Avenue, said he opposed renaming the street because of King's opposition to the Vietnam War (search).

"I don't consider Martin Luther King to be an icon or a hero to be looked up to," he said.

quick question

Ty, do you know if Sidd worked on any congressional campaigns, say back in the first year of law school, when he was learning argument techniques?
