Floyd made the mistake of not taking anyone with him on his breakaway. If he had, the other guy could win the stage, and floyd doesn't get tested (right--isn't it stage winner and overall leader?).

But I think it's inevitable that they would give the title to a guy who took drugs. Unless Lance was in the field. Or Lemond.

Maybe he should have had another couple of shots of tequila, that might have slowed him such that someone else could have gone with him. For me, if I am going to have 4 shots I ain't stopping until I am face down in the sluice on the men's room floor. Whether drinking or racing, I was singularly focused, eye of the tiger, spartanesque and all that.
