No no. I was sheeshing the first part and agreeing with the second. And it was the apex.

I have a theory that the new(er) muscles are actually preventing optimal performance for Woods. (1) Flexibility is more important re: (golf) power than muscles, e.g. John Daly, who is unbelievably flexible; (2) Longer, leaner muscles (purely observational) are the most ideal type for golfers; (3) A larger chest really can actually get in the way and prevent a smooth swing. While Woods' domination is still evident, he hasn't come close to that point in time when he destroyed the field and won four majors, at which point he was much leaner and had longer muscles.
I disagree. I think his problem is that he thinks he knows his game inside and out and can solve any problem on the fly as well as his (former) swing coach can. It's too bad that he has no one around him who will tell him that he's flat out wrong. Harmon had him working on every level. Now, he can't hit the fairway consistently and his distance and ball control isn't as good as it was.

And you can still be big and flexible. Just think Zuback:

Personally I find that I have trouble playing golf. My chest gets in the way. On the other hand, if we had a sport that involved spilling food on your chest, I'd be quite good at that.

If you're only construing 50% of the stuff here as harmful to others, you're probably missing some veiled references and double entendres. It suggests you should be brushing up on argot like "timmy," "deposition," "kayaking," and "whiff" (see also the related term "whiffenpoof," used mostly in connection with Atticus).

Holy crap, dude. Lighten up. As a conservative estimate, a good 50% of the stuff posted here can be construed as hurtful to others. How many times have I seen someone referred to on these boards as "idiot" or "moron" without repurcussions? Is there some unwritten rule that you can't take a poke at another poster unless it's a Friday?

Board ruling, please.
You can always take a slam, not just a poke at me, I'm immune. With this and the slam on the death pool I thought you were trying to start a week long war, which would normally be okay, but I have to do some work this week.

Why?

Though one would have to ask what is particularly self congratulatory about saying I spill things on myself. But never mind. Mr. I think I'll ask for a ruling and then be bitter when I am told I whiffed big time.

Actually, It suggests you should be brushing up on the meaning of the term "conservative estimate".

Somebody* is very cranky today. And, as a result, somebody* has misplaced his sense of humor.

*by "somebody", I mean you.

I think its just that he's nearing that milestone, you know, and he's looking for a way to make it a pleasant journey there...

what better way to get to your own personal k than a flame war with Hank? (It's how I hope mine goes down.)

Sorry, but I'm not especially impressed by actors who take on mentally challenged roles. I've seen too many actors of varying skill levels do it too well.

Anyone can play retarded convincingly. Just look at Hank.

You shut up too...Mr. Pissing in the gene pool. Playing a mentally challenged individual is harder than playing a gelfling or hobbit or whatever those things were....and half the otehr crap for which people get nominated. speaking of which, I find it very curious that a film that lacked any stand out acting performances could still so solidly sweep the oscars.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Indeed. We all know you are the one who brags about your chest. I merely make fun of mine, and sometimes complain about it. I brag about other things.

You'd think after all this time he'd get it right.
