Whereas adults who are cool are universally cool. Recognized by everyone from 8 to 80 as cool. Objectively cool.

No. That's not what I said. Adults have the capacity to be objectively cool. Kids do not.

Think about it. Kids are never really cool. They're attempts at being cool from 8-17 are pathetic. Amongst their peers, they are cool. But kids try way too hard to be cool to actually be objectively "cool". Only when a person reaches college age do they have the capacity to be objectively cool.

I thought I was pretty cool in HS. Maybe other people thought so as well. We were wrong. I was a huge dork, and the things I did to be cool made it even worse. You only become cool when you stop caring about being cool. The latter is why Flower is Not Cool.
Kids don't need to be cool. When they figure that out, then they become cool. Some people are still trying to figure that out.

But I was talking about little kids. They are cool because they don't care what you think. They say and do what they think is cool to them.

That's why little kids who are professional performers aren't cool.

I attended something at my daughter's pre-school today. She and a little boy decided it would be fun to pull my pants down. I am not wearing panties. This was not cool.

I'm going to a party: John Richmond's, with Cindi Mancini.

How far? And how loose were your pants? It would be tough to pull my flat-front euro pants down.
