This is bullshit. I have lived in Toronto and other places in Canada and I have found the level of complaining to be no more or less here than anywhere else.

To state the obvious, you all are generalizing based on your own experiences which is never reliable. So you hang out with people who bitch and complain a lot. That doesn't mean it's the "local sport." I do agree with you about discussions of real estate being the local sport, btw. That and, if you read craigslist, adultery.

So, Canadians are whining complainers, too? Good to know. It is possible that I am generalizing from my own experience, in which I am overexposed to Canadian transplants.

ever notice how people that really should complain don't much-

at least one group- teens in slasher films. they really don't complain about their circumstances. they tend to discount the danger or try to deal with it, but little sitting around and bitching.

I expect they have more to complain about the the average Toronto or NY or Detroit resident, and yet they seem more intent on dealing. lesson for everyone?

unfortunately the recent tally has been more alarming - she has 37 posts. The next closest posters are in the upper 20's.

so, I'd say it shows that with effort she can have some discipline, but there is still work to be done. keep up the good fight, ppnyc. I'm rooting for you. maybe watchtower will come by to lend you some support...
