Trinny and Susanna usually put it "Mutton dressed as lamb" on WNTW UK. I've never seen the US version; it's not a common American saying and I cringe to think of what the US people would have said instead.

The saying is "Mutton dressed as lamb."
I am not aware of the etymology, but we'll asign that research to Atticus anyways. If he's busy, let's check with the assignments partner and see if BRC is available.
Unless things pick up here, it may be time to ask a few questions. We did geography yesterday, and history and grammar have been done to death. Maybe some good math questions.

No! Doesn't Trivial Pursuit have a nice, sleazy Entertainment category or something?

Actually, maybe aphorisms are the way to go today. I'm sure we all have our favorites.
Mine: "The higher the monkey climbs, the more you see his ass." (sorry Flinty)
Anyone else?

You know what I have to say in response to this, so I'm not going to say it, even though it would have been far far shorter to just say it rather than explain that I am not going to say it.

Dissent. Reality tv sucks ass. I have a newfound respect for Mandy Moore. She doesn't need to submit to humiliation and loss of personal respect for her 15 minutes of fame.

Paigow will be pleased to see your concession on this point.
