Old, greedy and bitchy. Apparently no fun for HST. Have to say it's working out pretty well for me, but YMMV. How 'bout the rest of you greedy old bitches?

what's the difference between Irish breakfast tea and English breakfast tea? Is ordering one or the other dangerous like Jameson's or Bushmill's?

I guess. When RT &/or Balt &/or whoever tell me that the donations, however they are calculating them, hit $2500 & $3000, I'll send RT a nice paypal transfer. I don't need, or care, to see anyone's checks or receipts.
And, mmm, while I am glad my frank pubic-hair questions please you, I note we have not received any frank pubic-hair responses. And where else can I ask these questions and get this kind of info if not from you guys?

Does she or doesn't she? Only her waxer knows for sure ...

I ask because I've been toying with the laser idea, too. It's not so much the time wasted waxing, for me, it is that anything that involves regrowth is ultimately unsatisfactory, and I'm pretty sure that, fashions changing as they might, I won't miss anything that isn't covered by a g-string. It would be nice to be relieved of the "smooth, stubble, smooth" cycle. Sort of defeats the purpose, about 1/2 the time.
Then again, I tend to be somewhat of a DIY girl, and I've also been vaguely considering an at-home electrolysis kit, but the idea of riding sparky in an embarrasing position in my own bathroom mitigates against.
|
electrolysis is pain, one hair at a time, and you have to zap them each several times to get them completely gone. I don't think I could inflict that kind of pain on myself. ETA And I'm saying that even though I find waxing/tweezing hairs from my ankles far more painful than waxing/tweezing hairs from the bikini line, and I have used the Braun epilady-esque rotating tweezer machine on my ankles. Electrolysis HURTS. But it is actually permanent, eventually, which is nice.
I have heard that the zapping is much more effective with darker hair/lighter skin. The sister of the woman who did my last-but-one bikini wax had it done and really likes it. The woman who did the waxing also alerted me to the existence of TendSkin to deal with bumps/ingrowns, and I LOVE it. I bought a bottle at an actual store, but then when I looked on Amazon there was some other product that people seemed to prefer, so I got a bottle of that to use when the TendSkin runs out.
That is all I have to say on unwanted hair for the moment.

I find that the cat-hair merkins are softer and more enjoyable to the touch than those made with real human hair.

Irish breakfast tea is a little more earthy.
Of course, in either country, it's not known as "Irish Breakfast Tea" or "English Breafast Tea" but rather just "tea." You don't really get an opportunity to get yourself in trouble.
Similarly, one is advised in Ireland to just order "a pint" or "one."

Sorry. I was actually just thinking of lasering the bikini line. Oh - and get laser over electroylisis - electrolysis hurts a lot more and is more long and drawn out.

Yes. Sad but true. However, those are relatively easy to avoid. And you can always send it back with "I asked for a pint, not piss." Which'll let 'em know you're serious. And probably get your ass kicked. Or drinking for free for the rest of the night. One or the other. Either way, it's good craic.

But aren't there also repeat treatments involved in the whole laser thing?
