So if a car with arabs in it comes speeding at a roadblock we can shoot because it's likely a bomber, but if Europeans are speeding towards a roadblock we shouldn't shoot because they likely have an excuse?

But, since you mentioned it, why are we still there at the roadblocks? Aren't we done liberating everybody yet? Or are we just there to make sure innocent people aren't being shot because of all the lawlessness and stuff? |

I would think that an intelligent guy like you would realize how incredibly stupid the phrase "homicide bomber" sounds. It's even more transparent and pathetic than "freedom fries."
It's stupid shit like this that makes me wonder if the structuralists weren't at least partly right. Because if they were, and if these examples are the best we can do to define the Iraq construct, we're fucked for generations.
