So no first-hand Sparklehorse reviews?

Sorta. They were right next to the John Mayer stage and we heard them from afar while wrestling with prepubescent girls for good real estate. I was sort of thrown, because my yoga instructor had seen them on Wednesday night in Houston and said that it was sort of crazy. What we heard was much more mellow than crazy. But then he's a yoga instructor. He may be easily startled.

*sigh*

There really wasn't that much shrinkage, either.

I'm pretty sure Tom Petty didn't get hit by lightening.

No. Way. OMG, I totally bought into your "trap her in a lie" lie. I feel so stupid now. Excuse me while I cry. In shame.

Wow. No one misinterprets me more than you. It's uncanny.

That's actually a pretty good description of Sparklehorse music -- a mixture of mellow and crazy.

I also learned that the proper response to, "we're out of the peach margaritas" is to ask the bartender if one of her co-workers can just fuck you in the ass instead.

You are tricky, I give you that. What if no one who was at that ACL was sober enough during the experience to actually know What Happens At ACL well enough to convey it to anyone else? Huh, Ms. Smarty A. Pants? What then? Perhaps it stayed at ACL???

Hey

Hey. You people. Are you talking in code or something? Because it's annoying. Trust me. I'm speaking for the viewers out here who do not know the code. So, take that for what it's worth.

I always knew there was a great guy in there. That's why I'm so hopelessly devoted to you on the Internet. :kisscheek

The leggings are bad enough. Fuck me.
My old Lands End stirrup pants are relegated to wearing for cleaning house and yardwork. But they are soooooooo comfortable.

ETA: I was walking along the sidewalk this morning behind a trio of very young, very tall & very skinny women. Any of them could wear the Audrey Hepburn skinny black pants.

So

I hope that bnb was on a plane or something instead of watching that Giants-Eagles game yesterday. There was a lot of screaming and jumping around during the 4th quarter and overtime at Casa SensiMan. Also cupcakes. Now I am eating the leftover cupcakes one by one.
