I was going to ask you whether the advent of satellite radio has caught Podunkville up to the coasts musically. So, uh, are you getting the edgy new classic rock-type stations or is your classic rock still stuck in the 70's and 80's?

Why did ZZ Top use all those computer sounds in their music? I never understood that. Have you ever heard anyone say "I really dig the senthesized metallic shifting sounds in those ZZ Top tunes?" What was that shit about?

That's kind of hot.
ETA moist cat food is not hot, and should not be heated as it stinks even more when warm.

I have my wife's car today, so I am without my Sirius. Anyway, to answer your question, ClearChannel/Infinity/MegaCorp radio still controls the spectrum here. The station I had on at lunchtime today is an improvement over the other classic rock station that we used to have -- it switched to Adult Contemporary a couple of months ago -- in that it has a much wider playlist of songs from the classic rock era (defined by me in a purely arbitrary way as 1968-1984).
So, instead of just hearing "Legs" repeatedly as the only ZZ Top song on the playlist, we hear "Pearl Necklace" on occasion. When the music programer in Bangalore has the computer pull up Van Halen, instead of listening to "Jump" 500 times, we hear "Atomic Punk."
Nothing edgy, though. Wouldn't want to disappoint the coveted white males 25-54 bracket (or whatever).
