  • Real high security mental wards don't often have bone saws lying around on carts.
  • If I had a relative with any kind of mental illness, I'd sue Joss for his portrayal of the mental health care system here and on "Buffy."
  • A grocery store security guard with a stainless steel automatic? Please.
  • Re: ex parte contact with judge: "Let the DA read about it in the paper." Priceless. Then again, I guess sci fi/fantasy shouldn't have to pay for technical consultants or fact checking.
  • How exactly does a person without a beating heart get high off of injectable drugs?
  • BIGTIME SPOILER ALERT / DO NOT READ THIS: There really should be a special disclaimer when a major character is going to have his hands sawn off.
  • They should kill Spike and be done with it. I'm sick of him.
  • Andrew had "I'm going to grow out some LA hair because I no longer have a recurring character" hair. A bit distracting from his character, I think.

The only good thing about the bbbbbbbbboy site was the "Spoiler" function that required you to click a button to display certain text. I'd never admit this to them, but the "whisper" function was pretty cool, too. Those fuckers.

Some of the avatars weren't that bad.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a view about the sweater issue; and if had a negative view, it would be proof positive I was doing the right thing, fashion-wise, anyway (have you ever seen how he dresses?!?!)

As to his "all kinds of problems" -- the least of which is NOT that he finds himself married to yours truly (uh, I mean to myself).

The link to the picture of your husband in bad clothes is not working.

Is this good or bad news?

Starting production in April is a big screen version of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", with Mos Def playing Ford Prefect and Martin Freeman (the Office, Love Actually) playing Arthur Dent. The only other case member announced is Zooey Deschanel as Trillion.

As someone who loved the books and enjoyed the BBC TV Series, I'm not sure what to think.

My usually reliable cheap mexican serape failed me.
This is a million-to-one shot (like the Fusili Jerry), but does anybody know the name of the Mexican comedy troupe that did a skit about serape technology? Saw them live once. Don't remember their name.

Similar question; does anyone know the name of the Japanese performance-art troupe that went on Letterman in the early 90s and ran around the stage for 4 minutes chucking firecrackers and breaking stuff?

Create a map of the states and countries you've been to.

I'd post mine, but I don't think it works with HTML code off in this forum.

In January 1989, if someone had told me that in 15 years, a Japanese pitcher under contract with the Indians would be coming under scrutiny by the international media for having done gay porn . . . well let's just say I would've called bullshit.

I knew I should have used italics.

It's not that they're bad (see? I learn quickly!!) clothes, it's just that there's no real, how do you call it?, panache in his wardrobe.

I mean, I don't expect him to have your flair (for who among us can pretend to the flower's sartorial splendor, I ask you!*), but let's just leave it at he would be a good candidate for "what not to wear" (not really QESG, as he has the other areas well-covered). He just doesn't care about his wardrobe -- which really suits me (ha ha) just fine, as there's more of the clothing budget for me!!

*The answer, of course, is dtb (she said modestly). Although I do humbly recognize my pretender status.
