Is this a joke? Because if it is, it's so deep that I don't get it.

And who do you think you're fooling with that avatar? GWNC ain't gonna fuck you and neither is RT. You might as well go with:

If someone wants to resize that for me, I'd loooove to use it as an avatar. This chick I went to elementary school with could make her mouth go waaaaaay down at the corners and talked JUST LIKE BEAKER. Obviously, I still kinda want to be her.

The street is all about the sandwich. In New Orleans, it's the muffelletta. In New York, it's the chicken parm. In Chicago, it's all about the beef.

What's your sandwich?

Nothing beats a good BLT or a fresh Cuban. But, I gotta go with a Philly Cheesesteak from Pat's.

(This is the reason I was so flabbergasted to see that picture where I thought he was Mel Gibson -- wtf happened? THIS is the Brad I know and love. swoon.)

Agreed. Now thanks to TM, we know that heinous picture is all the fault of bad lighting. I have now stopped banging my head against the wall. Peace and tranquility has returned to this little corner of the world.

I am partial to the 5 Series. If you can afford the 3, you can probably stretch a teeny bit (particularly with money as cheap as it is) into the entry level 5, which is, IMO, a much more comfortable and prettier car.
I think the E46 and the Z4 are both great looking cars, althought all E46s but the M are underpowered for my tastes. And the 525i and 530i? 184hp/175tq for 3400 lbs and 225hp/214tq for 3500 lbs? The A6s make 270hp260tq for around the same price, although they are carrying around an extra 400 lbs of AWD weight. The lower end 5 series are great cars, but underpowered by modern sports sedan standards. The 525i ias the exact same engine (ok, heads are updated, bottom end is the same) as my old 1988 528e, making only about 20% more power than that car did. A lot of that is made up for in the low weights for both those lines, but I don't know that I could chose either one over comparable offerings from Audi, Infiniti and the new 2005 MY high end offerings from Subaru.

I just bought a Z4. I like the fact that it looks great, but it's not at all the reason I bought the car. I've wanted a convertible for years, and I can finally afford a powerful, well-built new one, so it's a bit of a luxurious approach to something I need (a car).

What you're saying is what you prefer. Can't you appreciate that others prefer different things? I think it's great that BMW makes the cars that they do. They haven't really compromised too much about making their cars drivers' cars, providing manual transmissions and innovating. And they cars are plenty luxurious for me. Different people like different things, and for some a 3 series is exaclty what they need.

Pat's steaks aren't too great. The smaller steak houses are better food; try Delasandro's (sp?). But for the show/experience, Pat's is better.

I was in line, ordered my steak, heard the guy behind me order his. When we got to the pick-up they gave my steak to the guy in front of me. I was given the steak for the guy behind me, who start yelling for his steak, so I tell him the counter help F'ed up and lost an order so everyone is getting the wrong steak. Counter help starts yelling that I'm too stupid to know how to order. It was great, and it wasn't like this was one of those fake "abuse the customer" places. This was real. My steak that day was great, even though no way I'd have ordered hot peppers.

If you're going to spend that much anyway, why not go for 405hp? Styling?

All excellent choices. But a pastrami from Manny's or Katz's is still the state of the art for me.
