Quick Question.

Scooter Libby is the leak, and the little shit will find himself testifying soon enough. However, he's such a wanna be G. Gordon Liddy hardass that he'll go down in flames rather than cough up Cheney.

Tenet might be cutting out now to remove himself as a future target. He's the cat holding THE book contract of the next decade. But you'll never read it - he'll trade that ace for a fat gig at some oil company or defense contractor. Whitman? She was never even part of the Admin. She was a bone thrown to the few Rockefeller Republicans in the Northeast who cared enough to whine about how Bush was defiling the White House with white trash Jesus Nazis and oil whores. Whitman was a peanut for the housewives who thought they'd voted for a compassionate conservative. I like her, and its a testament to her that she ran screaming from the criminal administration presently ass-fucking the Constitution and testing novel geopolitical theories with American blood. Even if Bush's vision turns out to be correct, he'll be recalled as half-criminal. I see little difference between his regal rule and Nixon's nonsense - both thought they knew better than everybody else, so the ends justified the means.
Hmmm. Seems political, but includes "ass-fucking." Which board should this be on? It's a toss up, in my opinion.

Well, that line's enough to scar me for life.

Needless to say, I won't be seeing any movie with Naomi Watts ever in my life for fear of being blinded. Unless they were some mutant stand-in's nips?

Of course. I'm married, remember?

In other news, I had a hearing over in Beaucoup Egypt yesterday, and on the drive back, I saw yet another "Namaste" sticker on a car. This one was on the back window of a small pickup, next to an "Eve was framed!" sticker. The driver, contrary to my expectation, was quite a cutie (when I stopped at a light, she was in the left turn lane). Her dog smiled at me.

I don't think it's joy at fucking up the actual practice of law. If they're like most IT guys, they just hate lawyers.

After Paigow's question here a couple of weeks ago, I was also watching for Naomi Watts' nipples. I don't think it's so much that they're abnormally long, it's that they seem tenuously attached. It was almost as if Sean Penn sucked just a little harder, they would pop off. They looked more like oversized skin tags than actual nipples.

That's all.

I gotta tell you. I watched the movie and I saw nothing objectionable about Naomi Watts's nipples, except that they were on the screen and out of reach.

Oh, and they had Sean Penn all over them, but I assume he washes off.

Drama!

A kid fainted at the spelling bee! On national TV! He got up and spelled the word correctly!

It was definitely a sight to behold.

Are they showing the bee on espn this year? It should at least make the SC Top Ten of the day, if not the week. I've gotta see this. If anyone is loading up their Netflix queue, I highly recommend Spellbound.*

*contains some foreigners, but I think they're U.S. citizens.

Yes. I saw part of it during lunch, though I missed the fainting spell. The lunchtime crowd at the restaurant I was in was glued to the TV. A lot of those kids looked like they were going to faint. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Spelling bee spoilers

Update: Fainting kid is still in it, just spelled "scheherazadian" correctly, and is going to win it all or come in second. They're on round 13. Only one other kid left. "Lyophilize" was the word he spelled after the fainting spell.

Second update: Fainting kid just lost it all. He misspelled "schwarmerei." He spelled it "svermari." His advesary correctly spelled "gaminerie." Worse news for fainting kid: his older brother won it all two years ago.

This movie has been sitting on top of my dvd player for about a month now.* I dont' think I'm really getting my money's worth from Netflix. But I'm really really lazy, so I'll never cancel, so I'm the perfect customer. I should be the e-commerce poster-child.

*yes, I realize that you have to actually insert the disk into the dvd player in order to watch it.
