What do you about a problem named Bill?

1. At the first sign of a bimbo eruption, corps of young Republican and FedSoc volunteers will swarm any public appearance she is at with small boom boxes and crank out "Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette. there will also be a Wynette/Hillary phottoshoppe campaign; and
2. From here on, operatives will infest and insurge any live web forum and/or personal appaearance she makes and hammer her with the following Q:
Mrs Clinton, On January 27, 1998, you were on the today show on NBC and host, MATT LAUER, asked you the following question: Let me take you and your husband out of this for a second -- Bill and Hillary aren't involved in this story: If an American president had an adulterous liaison in the White House and lied to cover it up, should the American people ask for his resignation? and you responded, Well, they should certainly be concerned about it. and Mr. Lauer followed up by asking, Should they ask for his resignation?, and you responded, Well, I think -- if all that were proven true, I think that would be a very serious offense. That is not going to be proven true. . Based on that histourical exchange, I have a six part question, (i) Given that the hypothetical scenario, which you claimed, in your role as self-proclaimed co-President, would not be proven true, was proven true, why have you never apologised to the American public for your statements? (ii) If you truly believed that this was a "very serious offense", why did you stand silent as to reproaching your co-President publicly for such "very serious offense" and why did you attempt publicly to udnermine the legitimacy of the special prosecutor's office and the impeachment proceedings?, (iii) if you did not truly believe that this was a "very serious offense" why did you lie to the American Public and Mr. Lauer on the Today Show?, (iv) In the future on a going forward basis, do you believe that if an American President blatantly, baldfacedly and/or finger waggingly unequivocably lies to the American public do you think that should be classified as a "very serious offense" or dismissed as a personal choice?, (v) will you lie to the American public as President like your Co-President did?, and (vi) as an self-proclaimed widely acclaimed attorney is perjury before a federal court wrong? Thanks."
Based on what I am hearing from the VRWC leadership, this should be a fun campaign season.

Unless I am and all along have been an undercover Hillary counter-ops operative, banging the rhetorical drum in such an extreme and irritating fashion as to cause otherwise moderate sensible electorates to perceieve Hillary a victim of the screeching right wing crazies, take sympathy on her and ultimately vote for her, despite their natural uninfluenced inclinations.
Think about that.

Did this happen?
Is this true? How come I don't remember this?
"Not a single Supreme Court justice showed up for the State of the Union address by Bill Clinton in January 1999 to protest Clinton's disregard for the law"

CNN's coverage said that four GOP congressmen boycotted the speech, but did not say that any justices did, which surely would have been more noteworthy.

I believe that it is true. Certainly his disrespect for the law was well evidenced, assuming the act of perjury and the Federal court system are included as part of "the law".

Yes, generally speaking I have no problems finding handlers for matters concerning that area. <wink> <wink>

what are the women like who live in the $10-15 per bottle social strata? It's like you're willing them to have sour stomachs and daily headaches.

That lobbyist called you again?
ETA: I read that Gonzales was the cabinet member who stayed away. THat's a pretty good way to stave off an attack. If only Rummy were still around . . .

I guess Ann Coulter made that claim in one of her columns and now the apocrypha is circulating like a mad tornado. Pathetic.
It has come to my attention that a few Senators are under the mistaken impression that I speak for the "Silicon Valley". I think this is because I have sent Silicon Valley money their way. That is why the Lobbyists are after me. Clearly they have not done their homework. Those Silicon Valley donors listen to me about as much as they listen to Howdy Doody (except when it comes to donations), but the Senators in question don't need to know that. In any case, I have not disabused them of that notion. I have let them all know that the "Valley", supports the Dems modifications to the Medicare bill and the "Valley" hopes that the changes will make it through the Senate. I may have pushed my luck by saying the same thing about the rest of their hundred hour agenda (except the minimum wage, which I thought would be pushing it) but I figured what the hell.
I guess we shall see if the smoke and mirrors works.

You know, I have spent a lot of time in Napa with large donors who serve really high priced wine (which of course is totally wasted on my pallet) and the hangovers seem just as bad. I can't tell you how many times I have woken up at the Silver Creek Country Club with a brutal hangover. The same goes for expensive champagne.

When you go drinking in Napa and wake up in San Jose, that's no fun.

Evidently it's no fun even if you're with an expensive hooker named Champagne.

Are you sure it was Champagne and not her lo-rent doppelganger SparklyWine?
