Senior guy at my old firm has had a verifiably sucessful career.We knowthereare several neat things he actually did do. The best was his perhaps true story was he worked for the Kennedy campaign in his state in 60. One day in the firm lunchroom he says " I really liked when Lloyd Benson said 'I knew Kennedy' because I knew him too."

He looked up at the dozen lawyers spread around the table who were all staring at him- open jawed- and he realized he had gone too far, that this wasn't something we could buy- so he fell back to, "well I worked his campaign, but the people who knew him said he was great1"

See you can't change someone like that- you just try and contain them- like Ty thinks we should have done with sadaam. Just stare.

That Story was sort of funny. Reminds me of a party I went to back in lawschool. There was a guy from our section who was the typical dorkbag geek ls type. Annoyingly obnoxious with bad hygeine to boot. No one liked him but he came to social events anyway. At the party in question, someone took a half empty bottle of corona and re-filled it with urine and stuck it in the fridge. Later we challenged dorkboy to a chugging contest and he chugged the corona bottle half-filled with the dude's urine/

When he finished he said "this fucking corona is nasty, tastes like piss"

Someone replied "ha, nice palate, that may be because it 's half-piss/half beer"

We all laughed while the geek started retching.

Well, if that's the case, I would just ask him so many specific questions each time he told one of his stories, that he would be forced to go into a level of detail that would make anyone making shit up uncomfortable.
