Word on the Nutmegg street is that he is begging the governor for R sources of money to fuel the Joementum for another 2 months. He is going to be beholden to someone, and it ain't gonna be anyone with the initials D.N.C.
Do you think he's growing tired of Kos and DU referring to him as "Rape Guerney Joe"?

really. does money even play into this one? who doesn't know both at this point? the truly dumb who have trouble to even clip the right ballot box might not know who they should vote for, but that's all Dem machine votes. Joe used to get it, but he has to do w/o this time. He doesn't need the money. he needs the R label.

I think you know money for a GOTV effort. Turnout can fuck up the results.

I guess you are right....the lure of the Democrat party will certainly be too strong for Lieberman to jump ship...

A group of Senate Democrats is growing increasingly angry about Sen. Joe Lieberman’s (D-Conn.) campaign tactics since he lost the Democratic primary last week.

If he continues to alienate his colleagues, Lieberman could be stripped of his seniority within the Democratic caucus should he defeat Democrat Ned Lamont in the general election this November, according to some senior Democratic aides.
Some people think Joe staying in the race will hurt Dems running against CT incumbent Reps; some people think it will help. I can't decide who's right.

He's not beholden to anyone. Remember? He's a man of great principle. You can't buy him.

(You can only hope to contain him?)

Rell has the governor's seat locked up.

I can smell your fear through the ether of the interwebberian blogosphere. Lieberman will be the '06 symbol of the Democrat Party's failure to capitalise on electoral opportunity, again.

And Cantwell is going to win the WA Senate race, but those aren't the races we're talking about.

This might make sense if Lamont and Lieberman were going to split the Dem vote and allow Schlesinger to pick up a Dem seat.

In. Your. Dreams.

I am going on the record as predicting:

Lieberman (CT-R), as of January 1, 2007.

In case y'all were wondering, I still don't read this board. Or post on it.

One thing's for sure. It makes the Dems looks awfully disorganized. Which ain't good in elections riding heavily on national security.
