In the "It's All About Me!!!" Category, the winner is: Jennifer Garner!! My favorite quote from the article:

Is that a Fashionista on Salon's "Heaven or Hell" date series?
From Salon http://www.salon.com/mwt/col/heaven_...ksa/index.html (safe for work, but you have to watch the commercial to get a "day pass" to read). The whole thing is hysterical, but too long to post. Here's a snippet....
I was 30, an attorney working at one of those big faceless corporate firms, and had just used all of my vacation days for a three-week surfing trip to Baja. When I got back, I had lunch with a married friend ...
Soon after, I got an e-mail from the friend of the friend of the husband of my friend. I can't even remember his name now, but let's call him Dave. For a few weeks, we e-mailed back and forth, and he seemed normal enough. But I avoided going out with him and avoided giving him my phone number -- but somehow he got it and called me at work one day. Here's our conversation:Hi, um, Lisa? Yeah, um, this is Dave. I got your number off your company's Web site -- um, I also saw your picture, and yeah, you're really hot -- so, um, why are you single and willing to go on blind dates?"
"Dave? Dave friend of friend of Jason's Dave?"
"Yeah -- sorry. Um, yeah. I just wanted to call and talk to you to see if we could go out sometime."
(People, don't do this. Don't ask, "Want to go out sometime?" It leaves the person you are asking out with no out. What could I answer? "Gee, no, I am never free for the rest of forever?")

We sure are. You nailed it.
But for future reference, can you outline just exactly why we are all jealous of you? It can't be the body thing for me, because unless you post a picture of its gloriousness, I'm going to have to assume mine is nicer. It can't be your wit, because again, I'm going to have to assume based on what you've posted to date that I'm funnier. It can't be because you're smarter because I've read some of your arguments and they are mostly stupid and illogical (Ty bitch slapped you all over politics and yet you think you won? Amazing.)
I'm going to assume that you think we're jealous of the attention you get, but it seems to me you're being ignored by probably almost everybody by now, so help me out. I know you're right about us being jealous. I just need you to tell me why.

Scott Foley used to be Noel on Felicity. I think he's on that AUSA show now. He met Jennifer Gardner when she was a guest star on Felicity, and I think that the couple was fairly close to JJ Abrams, the creator of both Felicity and Alias.

I've been reading this series of articles since they started running it, and by far, this is the funniest. Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't watch them all, but here are my comments on those that I saw:

He is a dork. There is no way he can become the American Idol. He has a nice voice, but it's a corny voice. I can see him on Broadway, but he should forget pop music. Talent doesn't always equal success. He shouldn't go for awhile, but Simon was right.

She was just okay this time. Better than everyone but Ruben and the fattie Kim. She was too ambitious in her song selection. She almost pulled it off, but there were definitely moments where you could tell that song was kicking her ass. She did so well with the last Whitney song, she should have been satisfied enough to move on. That said, the last note she hit and held was fantastic.

I wouldn't say goosebumps. He did well, but I don't think disco is his genre. He can hang in any category, but last night's effort was just okay (relatively speaking since only 1 other contestant is even in his class).

Absolutely. He was fucking horrible. And he wasn't sick. That was bullshit. If we weren't at war and this was pre-9/11 he would be going home tonight. He sucks. He can't decide if he's fat or not. And he has limited range and very little talent.
Kim L. was great. She was doing a straight-up Martha Walsh imitation, but she really pulled it off. I cringed at the beginning because those first notes were too low for her. But after that, it was her song. She hit all the right notes and really performed the song. Great finale. The problem is she picks clothes for people whose bellies aren't overly bulbous. If she lost 80 pounds and stuck to songs she can sing (and I don't think she knows of any others aside from "Over the Rainbow" and "It's Raining Men") she would be a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately for her, that's not going to happen.

If you don't mind your mate's exploits with a cheesy hooker being plastered all over the press (and the resulting necessary OB/GYN visit for an STD checkup), he sounds like a great catch.
Glad to hear he hates acting. I'm annoyed by his playing the exact same charming bumbling stutterer in every movie anyway.

Right. Just like I had the right to glance then snort derisively towards the package region of a guy who did that to me. It certainly solved the problem.

For a nanosecond I thought this asked if anyone knew how to forward PMS.
If anyone figures that out, kindly post instructions.

I didn't think there were any universal signals. I figured any signal would be regional in nature and probably wouldn't last very long. The rainbow thingy is an obvious one, though.
As for other types of hints, I would assume they would be the same as the little signals heteros send each other indicating interest.

I'm not insane, just stupid. My remark was meant to respond to the following by Paigow:
"PM question
Anyone know how to forward PMs?
Never fuck with the paigow. mmmmmmmmmmmmhahahahahahaha"

My problem with Kim Locke is that while she has a nice voice and can hit the proper notes, she can't sing.
Now, I am not trained as a singer so I have no way to precisely describe the problem, but when she sings, she appears to be pushing the notes rather than singing them.
With descriptions like that, it's a good thing I don't work in music.

The Ignore Function
Can I just state one more time how much I am digging this? I am sure all of you are now ignoring me bc I previously posted that I am ignoring some, so perhaps nobody will see this. But you know what? This established my point about whats great about the ignore funtion. That is allows you to customize your universe. I dont like AdL's unfunny graphics? Poof! Gone. Self Employed Fluffer is a one trick anitpaigow pony? Adios. WIth ignore, I only converse with and observe who I want to. ANd conversely,. those who dont want to converse or observe me dont have to. So they are out of my universe as well. No having to worry , gee, does she really hate me but is talking to me anyeay (not that I am really paranod). Ignore allows me to skip that nonsense. I am now in a world where everyone is paigowapproved And I am approved by those who choose to be in my world. Fabulous.
Now, I am gonna run a little personal contest for the slot number three onmy ignore list. JustForFUn is looking like the Ruben of this contest, but I am keeping my eyes peeled for anyone who is utterly self centerd, trolling for compliments, just trolling in general, or who takes up a lot of space but says nothing witty, funny, insightful or overall entertaining.
As you were

Ignore
You know, it isn't really necessary to announce when you ignore someone. All it will do is cause the person to respond, and since you are ignoring him or her, that is rather pointless. It just leaves the rest of us reading that response.
Just ignore the person and be done with it.
