I like this type in stretch lace. I recently bought a bunch of bikini-type granny panties, and am happy with them.

I pretty much quit with the thongs when I stopped wearing skirts all the time. I think I only have a couple pairs of pants I wear regularly that would show anything underneath in normal wear (if pasted to me by a strong wind, the answer might change, but meh).

Ugh. Pretty much everything is "low rise" now, even my DKNY pants suits. And the waist of skirts fall way below the belly button line. I was hassled all weekend at a family get together for my thongs showing in the back whenever I moved around or leaned down. The under 40 crowd is used to it but the over 40 men were all frazzled. Very annoying. So what's a girl to do? I absolutely hate panty lines, so how can I do this without wearing thongs? A cousin at the get together wears body suits with all her low rise jeans to prevent peekaboo when she leans over but says it's a pain to pee (she does the "move aside" thing). The short legs of those "boy short" undies always ride up into a bunch so you end up wearing grandma undies with a bunch of material rolls at your bikini line. At this point I'm thinking of going pantyless (though my low rises are never as low as Pink's).

You have to make sure they have good grip around the thighs. If they don't, it's a disaster. It's all bunchy and annoying; it's worse than panty lines, it's panty bulge -- and not in a good way.

I hear ya but these are not good undies to be wearing when you're being undressed. The grip has to be so hard that it pushes the skin in, causing bulging of skin around the elastic, which looks like fat. This is the same reason why those "thigh highs" aren't sexy -- they use the same super-elastic grip and then skin bulges above them - not pretty and why the traditional garter hose and clips are better. Problem with the garter/hose is -- damn you had better practice that shit. I went for a leisurely stroll on a third date in the plaza around Lincoln Center thinking I'd give my date an enticing, casual peak at some point at my sexyware. Next thing I know, both hose came out of the garter clips and there went my "barely black" hose, sagging until they came to rest mid-calf. I had to walk back to the restroom with one hand pinching the stuff on each outer thigh to keep it up until I could perform major surgery in the bathroom. I do not have hot legs so none of this was cute.
