To answer the latter, why would ye not talk like a pirate, you dog?
Rather have "Talk Like Yoda Day" would I.

I have an alarm clock with a voice-activated snooze. Back when I needed to set an alarm, I would just say "NO" or "FUCK YOU" if I needed another 63 minutes of sleep (which came in 9 minute increments).
I wonder if ncs is crying in her shrimp caesar salad yet? And if the 2L is wearing Ann Taylor?

It occurs to me that you should request a room on an upper floor, because the ocean-side windows may be French doors onto balconies, and you may have security issues with leaving them open at night.

My alarm clock is a 15 year old Sony Dream Machine cube. It's been all over the country with me. It's been thrown across the room a few times. It's been slapped god knows how many times. Thing will not die.

Hey---I'm relentless but I assure you I ain't crying over TM's asessment of me.
It just makes me laugh. people are dealing with real life and death issues out there. unless you lost your job and homeless on the street or there are extenuating personal circumstances you're a mess.

(Now, can someone tell me why TM doesn't drink coffee?)

1. I'm just not a coffee drinker.
2. I think at some point on the old board we discussed how an offer to come in for coffee after a date really meant sex. The joke came about because I was describing how loud moaning during sex is good, even if I'm trying to shut you up. On this board, Anne Elk, after reading that post, jokingly asked if I wanted to meet for coffee. I continued the joke (and subsequently ground it into dust with (predictable) repeated usage) whenever it fit (sts). And then I met Anne Elk, but it wasn't for coffee.*
3. Also, whenever bilmore thought I was being mean for no reason, he would stupidly imply that I had too much coffee. But that's just because he is exceedingly annoying.
TM
*That is neither here nor there.

My ex-husband once beat up our alarm clock with a golf club.* It was fun. And I have the worse temper by a mile. He was just mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
