"Ho Phase"

When a woman gets out of a long relationship and starts going to clubs again, what's the average lenghth of her "ho phase" before she settles back down into a new relationship or some degree of normalcy?

This is an impossible question to even try to answer.

On average, I'd say 1/4 of the length of the relationship.

Our average was three months.

In my personal experience, the ho phase gets sort of tired within 6 months. Whether or not a worthy new guy is found, it is tiring to go to clubs and ho around for much longer than 6 months without some sit-at-home rest period. But maybe I'm old.

Not that I would ho around, of course.

I love the Ho Phase. I'm pretty sure the latest studies say that the Ho Phase lasts one month for each year that the dissolved relationship lasted.

In my single experience, the ho phase invariably lasted until 1 day before they met me... Dammit.

Depends. Was she normal before?

Yes. That's why it is a "ho phase" and not a "ho lifestyle."

We have two women friends who are just entering their "ho phase." Depending on what their interest is, my guy friends are trying to plot at what point they want to get involved.

I'm wondering if these might also be affected by other variables:

1. An inverse relationship dependent on the number of cats owned?

2. A direct relationship to the animosity of the breakup?

Thoughts?

My thought:

You've never experienced the "ho phase."

Guilty as charged.

Back in the day, I tended to gravitate toward those who adhered to the "ho lifestyle."

If "cats owned" is a Sebastianism for "men fucked," that might have some logic to it.

Babe, you might as well settle in, because you're never getting out of that "phase."
