Average Joe (spoiler)

1. In the funniest twist of any reality tv show ever, what's-her-name had to reveal something about her past to the guy she eventually chose -- that being: SHE DATED FABIO. The guy found this to be so repulsive that he dumped her almost on the spot. Hilarious. The best ending of a dating reality show yet.
2. The little guy from Boston gets dissed. Surprise? No. You could tell when they kissed that he didn't have a shot.

I felt really bad for Brian from Boston. It was cruel of her to keep him around after he told her he'd never really opened his heart before. She should have cut him loose then. On the other hand, back in Beantown, he'll probably be getting the most action of his life from better looking women than before the show.
I don't think she really cared for Gil either and knew he didn't care for her. That ending seemed a little too scripted. Yeah, it shows really bad taste in men to have been in a relationship with Fabio, but it's hard to imagine that as a deal breaker. Also, this is a better ending for the producers than a simple 0-for-2 for the AJs. This way it plays like it was karma for going for looks over substance.

People say things on tv that they never say in real life. See also "I'd really like to take it to the next level".

Nobody comes to mind, but have you ever dated a non-celebrity who was so notoriously irritating to everyone in every social, professional, and academic circle with which she or he has been connected that you feared you might be shunned as a result?

curiously, or not, I read that as "baseball's steroid single-season record for home runs."
Well, it is that too. Or that only.

No one had her in our pool and, surprisingly, no one had her in the big pool that I am in. No hits today for Marge.

After watching the Average Joe last night and reading Thurgreed's post about it, I started thinking about whether there is any female celebrity that I think is so cheesy that I wouldn't date a guy who dated her. I just can't think of any female equivalent of Fabio.
So, a poll. Is there any female or male celebrity, besides Fabio, that you hate/dislike/disdain so much that you would never date a person (even if that person is really hot and you like them) just b/c they dated the hated celebrity?
I don't think I could date any guy who had ever dated Jennifer Love Hewitt. This means that Carson and Alec lost their chances at me, fools.

I couldn't date anyone who dated Michael Bolton. Not the guy from Office Space, the other one.

Dick
Dick Clark sued for age discrimination.
Tying threads together - game shows - death pool.
Ralph Andrews, producer of such game shows as “Liar’s Club” and “Celebrity Sweepstakes,” claims in his Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit that Clark, 74, sent him a letter in May of 2003 saying he was too old for a job with his production company. Dick tells me I’m too old,” Andrews said. "I’m not too old. If Dick’s not too old then why am I?”
Really good question. Dick Clark must have Dorian Gray's picture in his attic because he looks pretty good for 76 - and no one picked him for the death pool due to his apparent good health.

Confidential to Montecore
BERLIN - Illusionist Roy Horn is said to be walking again, five months after he was mauled by a tiger.
So Roy is up and walking again with the aid of a walker - Montecore, if you had Roy in your death pool, you lose - for now at least.
