Exactly. that's my problemo. Even if I didn't have the several paternity claims hanging out there, I have expensive tastes. I am not quitting work, notwithstanding the obvious misery, only to be drinking wine out of box with Ty in a public park and driving around in a 15 year old Volkswagon Eurovan. Been there, done that.

Did we ever determine how much money a person needs to have in the bank before they can just up and walk out one day? Can you tell I am less than 3 weeks away from my much-needed vacation?

I figure about $7.5M. But then, I have tuition and inflated health care costs to deal with.
Of course, you live in LA.

It ain't bad. I don't have the energy to care as much... The only problem is I can barely pick up the phone to phone it in anymore. I may ride this thing further than I've done before (in college I slept for 3-4 hrs a night for an entire summer and get pretty strange and paranoid after a while). I wonder when you finally hit the wall. You probably get mono or something before that, right? I don't think I can get there. Massive B12, Red Bull, cigar* and coffee dosings are keeping me rolling. And how gay is that? What the hell am I doing? I'm pretty sure I have some intestinal parasite on top of it....
*Sooo much nicotine.

Just remember, if you get a stabbing pain in your left shoulder and you haven't just been stabbed, it's time to chew a couple aspirin and hit the ER. Tell them I sent you.

LIRR Accident
Someone posted something on an LIRR accident. I cannot scroll back to see who but I will say that I heard on WINS radio that it and NY Newsday, a Long Island newspaper have studied LIRR stations and found that significant gaps exist at many stations, and that no one has died in one of these accidents for 10 years according to the LIRR, which means they haven't done anything for 10 years.

She's got some good advice about how to survive a freestyle rap battle. F'r'instance:

No kidding. Next time I'm bringing my own wine.
Never believe it when a guy in a skirt says, "Here, try this, and don't let the packaging fool you -- it's from Washington state."

Wait, that's the test now? Someone please tell the government (and make that 500,000 pages).
