Um, you didn't notice that your wives had to wear maternity clothes for quite a while after delivery?

That was not the situation we were discussing at all. We were talking about the "I don't want kids yet" kind of abortion -- neither of us did. I also agree that you never know for sure until it happens.
That said, if you really must know:
(a) I would and do put the life and health of my spouse over that of an unborn child -- though I doubt she would.
(b) Depends on precisely what is meant by "horribly wrong."

Yes, but I was dissuaded from evaluating the situation more closely.

My first wife was a very politically aware feminist for whom abortion rights was essentially a litmus test. We discussed these issues from time to time, even before we were married. I told her honestly that, while I knew it had to be her choice, I would find it very difficult to maintain a relationship with a woman who had aborted a fetus I had fathered.
This really sounds odd out of context, but one of the most special things she ever said to me was sometime after that conversation, which she had clearly been thinking about, when she told me that she could never abort a child of mine.
I'm not sure why I wanted to tell that story. Flashbacks.

In the spirit of bi-partisanship I will admit that your story made me verklempted. Any chance you two sweet crazy former loverbirds will reunite and not abort your feti?

"horribly wrong" was followed by "and wouldn't live after birth." Which cuts out a lot of horribly wrongs, which are would live for a few days/weeks/months, with tons of medical support etc., but wouldn't ever make it to a year, or would be born with essentially no brain, or what have you.

In the spirit of bi-partisanship, regardless of whether I am pro-choice or pro-life, does this mean the pootie store is open?

What? How could you not know what was going on? You thought it was, like, fat that then magically melted away? Did you not read the baby books? I have no interest in making babies, and I know this.

Your post implied something gross genitally.
As to you having/not having children, remember your promise. i consider it a sacred promise.

Thanks, Penske.
No chance I'm afraid. Both remarried now, with children. Oddly enough -- the kids are almost exactly the same age.

I am not penske.
When you say no chance, are you completely discounting some future polyamorous union of the 4 of you? I only say this because I want to see the glass as half full, in a bi-partisan way.

It is sacred to you because you worship me as your goddess. Duh.
And, on the distended, it was in the context of the size of the uterus surrounding the incredibly huge fetus in Diane's picture. I think usually there's either a big tear in the genital area, or it is cut open. Tears apparently heal faster in most cases.
