Where do "Heartbeat" by Don Johnson and "She's Like the Wind" by Patrick Swayze fall on the list?

TM
Right after Eddie Murphy's "Party all the Time" - which I've been told you do a wicked version of at karaoke

Concur with your FOTM thoughts. What really sucks about that song is all the praise it gets. I am trying to think of some other Worse Dead Songs Ever. Dancin in the Streets, though a cover, is my pick.

Jessica (or was it Caryn?) from Franklin Hall, right? Ah, you all looked so hot in your hipster Lisa Loeb glasses and your Ani DiFranco shirts.

I can see where you would get them confused, since they were always together.

American Pie has been played so often that it is meaningless to me.

Auld lang Syne, though, I'm with you on. From the opening line about meeting his ex-girlfriend on Christmas Eve, it's a pretty gripping little story. A wee bit depressing. Kind of like Chapin's Taxi (which is also overplayed, but not as much as his now hateful to me Cats Cradle).

Apropos of Electric Light Orchestra, a local DJ around here was almost fired from the classic rock station when he wondered on the air what sort of blackmail material that the ELO dude had to use to end up in the Traveling Wilburys.
I've never heard the term art-rock. ELP is classic prog(ressive) rock.

Much like Meatloaf, "Cat's in the Cradle" is a well-known board killer.

I can't bring myself to hate American Pie, because it was my favorite song when I was like 5 or something. It deserves scorn, though, so the rest of you can hate away.

I don't remember the artist, I think her name was Bonnie, but in the 1980's she had a god awful song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" that I can't get out of my memory banks, no matter how much turpentine I swallow.

selling a house

I'm going to sell my place. Any advice about picking an agent to work with, or any other part of it?

they were living together platonically. don't try and apply normal logic to them.
I haven't been following this story at all but why on earth do we know this about them?

In case anyone is wondering, I am not a virgin.

All three of the aforementioned songs are on Hell's soundtrack.

Fucking-A man. Why'd you have to do that?

Bonnie Tyler.

Any idea what she has in common with Meatloaf?
