So, the boys (and I mean boys) who sit on my desk are all in agreement that today I look like a catholic schoolgirl (one dude said it, and then all the others voiced their agreement).
I have to disagree. First of all, I'm not wearing a crucifix. Secondly, I'm wearing a sweater-vest thingy with stripes and a white shirt underneath, and a longish blue skirt with front and back slits (and very fetching little pockets with purple trim).
Catholics of the FB, I ask you, is that a particularly catholic -- or Catholic -- look?
I mentioned that I meant to wear a blue shirt, but it was in the laundry, and one usually quiet guy said (a little too loudly), "It wouldn't have made a difference." (strange -- I wouldn't have thought sartorial matters registered with him -- but he actually went to Catholic school, so I guess I have to believe him)

From the Sports Guy. First, the bad news:
"One longshot pick to potentially fall apart. What about Philly? This is an actual excerpt from John Clayton's 'First and 10' column this week: 'This was a bumpy offseason for Philadelphia, beyond Owens' antics. There was the Jerome McDougle shooting; Todd Pinkston blew out a knee; Correll Buckhalter is out for the season; Brian Westbrook held out and wants a new deal; and Corey Simon had the franchise tag pulled and signed with the Colts.'
Good Lord! In New England, the most traumatic event of the summer was Deion Branch's getting rested throughout the exhibition season because Belichick wanted to save him for the playoffs, so there was a rumor that Branch was hurt (it turned out that he wasn't). Meanwhile, Philly had so many things happen, a player got SHOT and it was casually thrown in the middle of the paragraph. Unbelievable. In a sport that ongoing distractions really can kill your season, the Eagles seem to be pushing the limits."
Now the good news:
"We'll see how it goes. In the AFC, they could have been broken. In the NFC, they'll probably still go 11-5, even with all this stuff happening."

This is an interesting bet. Hope I'm not paying off in week 12.

Paris
LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton is happy with tycoon fiance Paris Latsis, settling down to a quieter life and thinking about having a baby -- but first she wants a new $2 million engagement ring.
The hotel heiress told Vanity Fair magazine that she wants to have a baby within two years.
She should call Britney first and see how it's going. No more talk about pregnancy sex from her it seems.
But she was not happy with the engagement ring Kasidokostas gave her, so a new, 24-carat emerald-cut diamond ring estimated to cost $2 million has been ordered, Vanity Fair said.
“I like it,” Hilton said of the first ring, “but it’s yellow, and I’m like, I didn’t want yellow for my engagement ring.” Boo hoo.
Hilton is no longer as embarrassed as she once was by the sex tape made when she was 19 by then-boyfriend Rick Salomon. “I used to think it was so bad, but it’s like, everyone has sex. I’m sure everyone has filmed a tape,” she said. (Believe what you want, but that's not true.)
Hilton said the party life is no longer for her. “The nightclub scene is a very dark, bad scene,” she says. Kasidokostas “loves me and likes staying home with our dogs and me cooking.”
I can only imagine what she cooks. Lean Cuisine?

I knew the Mr Man overly masculine moniker was a cover for something. He is in clear violation of rule #30.

Failure to follow #28 caused much, much drama earlier this year. It seems that everyone is calmer now. Not speaking to each other, but much calmer.

I thought of your story when I read that one. Are the new couple still together?

It was more weird than erotic because the psychological issues they were working out were beyond uncomfortable, but the one guy is seriously hot.
And yes, bilmore, I have been watching a fair amount of TV lately.

Reason #1 that RP should come visit me: The Nip/Tuck trailers are two stories below my office window, and I see those guys just about every day. Oh, and the guy who plays the teenage kid, John Hensley, he dated my step-sister for a year while he was on "Witchblade," (filmed in Toronto). So we've chatted in his trailer. I couldn't get him to buy any tickets from me though.

As is my quarry.
I must say, I am relieved to know that there is authority for the notion that all that's required as repayment for moving assistance is beer.
And to know that I can be up to 100 minutes late. ![Wink](http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
