Cool. Will he do it in the next East Room photo event?

Yep. Worked for Perot. Should work for Kerry.

Most Households Say They At Least Sometimes Live From Paycheck to Paycheck and Don't Think They Are Saving Enough
Fifty-three percent of those surveyed say that they sometimes, most of the time, or always "live from paycheck to paycheck," according to survey research conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates (PSRA) for CFA. This percentage increases to 64 percent for those with moderate incomes (household incomes of $20,000 to $50,000) and to 79 percent for those with low incomes (household incomes under $20,000).

The reign in Spain ends mainly when . . .
Another chronology of the events in Spain in the few days leading up to the election, by someone who was in Barcelona. One interesting aspect of this is the suggestion that the spread of rumors was more important than what the media was reporting.
I've never been there, and don't know anything about this blogger, so I have no idea how credible this is.

We sort of live paycheck to paycheck and don't save enough.
Kind of a subjective test, I think.

Pshaw. 53% isn't a vast majority, it's just a simple majority.* And poor people don't vote anyway. Especially those that are working more than one job!! And the lower the wages, the more likely poor people will be to be working more than one job! This has the happy side effect of having fewer total people employed at all.
*Don't worry, I'm a chick, but not a hot chick. So this raises no issues of whether or not hot chicks can do math.

I worry about you. Stop reading all this nonsense. I only look at one insane right wing blog, and that's depressing enough that I do it every third day or so. You seem to make an hourly habit of scouring the net for this stuff- it can't be healthy.

But relevant if we are talking about people's perceptions of what will happen if they lose their jobs.

Well, tell me what you're looking for. You asked for foundation for the statement. I think that provides at least some foundation for it, no?
If the only evidence you'll accept (here, and by analogy elsewhere, as appropriate) is a study in which all participants agreed to open their financial books to be reviewed by CPAs, whose findings are reported to an acceptable panel of experts, please say so. We can quickly conclude that the degree of proof you desire does not exist, and therefore it's pointless to continue discussing the matter. All in all, it'll save us all a good bit of time.
