I vote banned.
you don't propose this to extend to (single sock)/(different time periods) situation, do you?

3. You think that reversing Roe would silence the harpies?

4. Has planned parenthood?
3. True. I misstated my plank. It would cram the taste of the dirt sandwich down their throats, which, while not silencing them, would be enjoyable to watch. Following that gag, their voices would have to compete for attention in the legislative arena and they would exposed for the minority that they are.

4. My sentence at 4 was written hastily and was garbled. Roe has renounced her former position on abortion. What does your question mean in that regard? Or are you saying has planned parenthood silenced the harpies?

Exactly. Like most liberals he has no responsibility to the nation, its heritage or the constitution, so rather than acknowledge his own drooling senility and the disservice it does our nation and the court for him to continue to hold on to his seat, he will stay until God or the devil, atcmb, has to serve proper justice upon him. And that day can't come a moment too soon. He is a liberal thug.

My question is what relevance her renunciation of her former litigation position has to the current debate, given that at least one other entity has litigated a similiar issue through the Supreme Court. (it's not as if she were the only one advancing the position)

If I were arguing the issue today, I would use Casey, not Roe, as the leading precedent.

MY VACATION WITH
THE GOVERNMENT.

BY WENDY MOLYNEUX
- - - -

Hey, guys! I just got back into the office and I'm catching up on my e-mail. Whoa! Seems like a lot happened while I was on vacation last week. Anyhoward, in a lot of those e-mails you guys sent out, you seemed worried about where The Government was last week. Well, don't worry!!! The Government was on vacation with me! My husband and I have been friends with The Government since college, and we do a trip every year to catch up and, of course, to get loaded and get our freak on! The Government is soooooooooooooo much fun. The party never stops when The Government is in the heezy!
More.

Obviously, it has no relevance. It's symbolic. I was being rhetorical. Personally, based on the limited number of interviews I have seen with her, I am fairly certain I would find 2:00 in her presence to only be about 5 seconds less intolerable than 2:00 minutes in Allred's presence, the latter of which is 2:00 minutes too long.

For the substantive and the symbolic I look forward to Roe going down. With Roberts, Rodgers and a couple more picks for Bush before 2008 (Stevens and Ginsburg) it looks possible. Light at the end of the tunnel. Woo hoo!

the irony is that the people who write that and the people who read that are far more likely to be on the gov't's dole one way or another (and were probably at the front of the line to grab their government cheese last week).

For me, and the other hard working taxpayers of this nation, it would be tough to tell if the Feds were on vacation or not, since we get so little ROI.

The Gospel According to the Economist

2. Well, I do read it, but I tend to get behind (I'm finishing up an early July issue now). I make more time to read it than I do W, which is saying something.

However, their US coverage amuses me sometimes. While I recognize that 95+% of Americans don't have a coherent understanding of how parlimentary democracies work, it is funny to read the Economist writers from time to time completely misunderstand how things work over here. Still, that's preferable to reading the writings of their actually American US correspondents - the different style is usually a dead give away.

I've often said that one of the reasons the Economist is the best international news publication in English is because it is mostly written by over-educated, under-experienced, recent Oxbridge grads. (The fact that, of the 5 correspondents I actually know 2 are over 60 and one didn't attend either Oxford or Cambridge notwithstanding.) The Economist reminds me, fondly, of the time when I, too, at the age of 24, knew the answers to cure all the world's ills. The last time smart-ass idealistic 20-somethings got to really run anything was probably the French Revolution, but the Economist makes me think things might work out better next time.
