Ah technology
Oh, and a very good, funny web page devoted to Jan Smithers, who played Bailey, who was better looking than Anderson - not a brazenly sexual, but prettier. http://www.clothmonkey.com/smithers.htm

I hate to be sexist, but I don't count it as a fight when two men scratch and pull one another's hair.

I tell you this because I care and for the sake of the Newbers:
I took me years before I realized that I could not take every post on this internet chatting board at face value, but when I did finally realize it, my appreciation of the board increased dramatically. I urge you to make the leap that I did. It's a more confusing world, but one so rich in nuance and irony that you barely even notice how confused you are!

Your leaving before the Fists of Thunder were unleashed was your choice, and one you'll simply have to live with.

"Hank, what year associate are you? I'm 4th year!"
Like his being closer to the slaughterhouse made me afraid of him?
But anyway, say you're vegan and paint it as insensitive to drag you there- it's California for fuck sakes.

Lunch update: The other attorney is junior to me by 3 years and a litigator. She was late to lunch, sent her lunch back, thereby adding another extra 20 minutes on and insuring this kid missed his evidence class, turned the conversation to being all about litigation and how fucking important litigators are (in their own minds), asked for the check without seeing if the guy wanted coffee/dessert (which at that point, I'm sure he didn't), and then didn't even have the courtesy to walk the guy out with me, saying she had to use the restroom, so I had to escort him back (in addition to escorting him there because she was so late). I'm such a fucking doormat. I hate lawyers. Remind me - is she the 10%er or am I?

I wonder if ncs is crying in her shrimp caesar salad yet? And if the 2L is wearing Ann Taylor?

Am I to understand ...
the someone has mistaken the Pretty Little Flower for pretty little moi? What an honor and a privilege!
I still don't understand, in this individual case, how the identity of speaker changes whether the post is bitchy or not. Is it a gender issue? Or is PLF a dear friend?

Sigh. It's a quote from a movie. Annette Bening says that she likes sex for the endolphins. Clearly a reference lost on you rubes.

I got the reference, but I thought she said she liked exercise for the endolphins. This changes my whole view of your afternoon.
