Well, I'm swimming in uncool in real life, too.

I wonder whether it was Shawn Colvin or the Nields that set The Pretty One off.

Well, Paul Simon did not earn you any points, but I actually had to look up the Nields on the world wide internet. I got to the homepage of the sister folk duo from Northampton, MA, and read the following:

"May 30, 2005
Joyous News From Katryna [Nields]

Hello friends!

Wow. I hardly know how to begin. I am overjoyed because I am going to sing with my sister again. I am going to sing to my children again. I am going to sing when I am all alone in the house. I am going to sing to keep myself awake when I am driving."

That is as far as I got. I am purchasing an unlimited pass to the Zesty One's vomitorium.

I like the pants of the chick on the right, though. I have a similar pair, except tighter:

You've lost me. Are you wishing a birth defect on my spawn, or on the spawn of mine and Str8's spawn?

Why, having ascertained that they were a folk duo from Northampton, MA, did you feel the need to read even one word on their webpage?

BR(though I admit to once having owned an Uncle Bonsai recording, which, as a folk trio from Seattle, isn't much better)C

Because it felt so good when I stopped.

Were the Roches ever cool? Because I think I might have listened to one of their records once.

The spawn of your spawn and Str8's spawn. Your big dicked granddaughter, while proficient grammatically...forget it.

You really took the fun out of this by mentioning "birth defect".*

*clue a smarmy PLF response...however, like Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, any attempt to predict what he will say will unavoidably change his response.

The movie got good reviews. Henry Rollins and Heidi and really liked it. I'll see it eventually, but will wait for the rental. I only pay the big bucks for special effects type movies that require monster screens and stupendous speakers.

I found it annoying until the very end. The wedding is priceless.

Napolean won the MTV movie award for best musical piece (or something like that) for his dance skit.

It's hard to laugh through the tears. You wished freakishness on my progeny!

While we're on the subject-- if you are pregnant and somewhat more emotionally sensitive than (even) usual
