Please see the part about feeling obligated to invite people from work. That's sort of the tradition when she gives out her personal tickets.

Complaints have been sent to BMG, but to no avail. Mr Man can provide details (I know not of this stuff) (nor do I want to).
Just don't ask Mr Man about the drive that stores all of our iTunes crashing and our backup file ending after the bands starting with "G". He's a bit touchy about that still.

It is particularly amusing that the problem arises only with iTunes on PCs, but not on Macs.

A) Some of our consultants who have been stuck here for months. Upside: generates goodwill and good working relationships. Downside: They are dorks and probably would not be very fun to drink beer with.
B) Some other consultants who basically run the company and for whom I more or less work. Upside: generates goodwill and good working relationships. Downside: I may drink enough beer that I say what I actually think about them.
C) Cute IT chick with whom I have worked forever but never slept with. Upside: Tonight could be the night. Downside: She has a blind date tonight, and I'm not sure about the MFM thing.
D) Mid-forties attractive cougar who has tried to sleep with me in the past, but I turned her down. Upside: I will probably sleep with her. Downside: I will probably sleep with her.
E) Nice but unattractive co-worker who has taken me to many games in the past, despite the fact that I will not sleep with her. Upside: I feel like I owe her. Downside: See above re: unattractive.
This should not be considered multiple choice. All suggestions/replies are appreciated.

I'd grab whoever I could find that is willing to go, but I'd also never agree to go to a baseball game on the day of unless my job is on the line. And maybe not even then if the severence package seems doable.
Consultants more dorky than lawyers? This has not been my experience.

Take the cute IT chick, her blind date, and RT. RT can distract the blind date while you get beer after beer after beer for the cute IT chick.

First, perhaps knowing the correct song title "Best of You" may help you in your troubles. It is a song about someone who really likes someone else and that person is drifting away. Hardly an anthem of boasting.
Second, ixnay on FF bashing or NCS will have Taylor's family come over to your place and kick your arse.
