West Side.

And to pay my rent in my tiny apartment north of Howston in what is probably the least fashionable part of Manhattan, looks like this big shot lawyer is going to be reviewing documents for a little while. Twelve hours a day, six days a week.

Oh, well. I hadn't gotten cable yet, anyway. What else would I be doing?

That sucks.

Although at least you will be getting paid overtime. When I get stuck reviewing documents twelve hours a day six days a week it is always with diminishing marginal returns.

The upside is that it is unlikely that anyone will be paying much attention to what you actually do all day.

The downside is that you could end up working for someone like me.

YOu should be feeling bad for Phil Mickelson.

Well, I don't have it yet, but my resume is being submitted. I'll have to clear conflicts, not always easy in my case. Other than that, I didn't realize getting a document review gig quickly was that big of a deal.

Did you get a job, or is this a euphemism for garbage picking after returnable bottles?

PS judged.com is supposed to be a great spot for job hunt networking. aren't you crowned there- that's gotta count for something!

I think we're all stunned that Wade got bailed out with that foul call with 1.9 seconds left in OT.

How about Monty? If he'd made that bogey putt, he'd be in a playoff right now.

The NBA is dead to me. Foul calling seems to be way too subjective. Apparently more so when Miami is on the floor. And when a team that is generally good at the free throws chokes like that in the last minutes, really what is the point of watching?

On the plus side, my relationship with the NBA was realtively new anyway, so I'm sure that I'll find a way to carry on without it. Carry on.

I feel bad for Monty.

I held my nose at the NBC commentary and watched game 6. It actually wasn't too bad (the commentary). I am going to watch game 7.

Can't you get CBC commentary over the internet?

Yeah, it seems that all the stars lined up for Ogilvy. He should have bought a lotto ticket to boot.

After a long saturday afternoon at the pub, I am now officially switching my sports attentions to be 50/50 world cup/baseball. The combination of a fun Ghana victory (scoring twice on the give and go.. let's see harris and nowitski do better) and an exciting U.S. Italy game sucked me in.

Either that or I am seeking excuses to have six pints of Guiness in mid-afternoon.

Isn't he rather widely regarded to be an ass? Or is that limited to his spat with U.S. fans?
