It should always be "hmm" if not "hmmm". At least 2, and possible more, "m"s.
As to air being yellow, you might want to hold your breath a lot when you're outside today- this will not only keep you safer but also, as you get light-headed from oxygen deprivation, make the yellow sky seem even prettier!

Don't tell anybody the secrets I told you.
Embarrassing confession time, triggered by the programing choices made by the hippie radio station this morning:
Ahem. Here goes. Listening to "Puff the Magic Dragon" makes me sad in a nostalgic-y sense of lost innocence kinda way. As does hearing "House at Pooh Corner."
Carry on.

Hey
Fringisco. Using my board name.
Is there a song about "House at Pooh Corner"? Or are you referring to the book?

Hey
"House at Pooh Corner" is definitely in the running for worst. song. ever. I didn't actually know it was Loggins & Messina. Like I needed another reason to hate Kenny Loggins. And now I have to hate that Messina dude, too.

Firm Question
Question:
I am seeking "new" opportunities while still employed. If I send a letter directly to a firm's recruiting department, is it understood that I want it kept confidential? The firm is seeking a lateral for the position that I want. Feel free to PM

If you are listing current employment on the resume, it should go without saying that you would prefer the inquiry be kept confidential. If you are really paranoid, you should mention it in the cover letter. Or in the e-mail attaching your cover letter and resume.
Generally places will ask during the interview process whether or not it is okay to contact your current firm.

Why wouldn't you make it clear in the cover letter? "Please keep my submission of my resume confidential" or something

Thanks, ncs
I really didn't want to put it in the cover letter since it seems a little strange and paranoid.
