Umm, no, but what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?*
*is that unPC to say now a days? I mean, is it racist to imply that Chinese people drink tea? What about Brits? Can you say that they drink tea or is that, too, unPC?

Last firm I worked at they would not use the term "Chinese Wall" because they said it was racist. WTF?? The Chinese erect a wall to keep the rest of the world out and if anyone else mentions it, we are the racists? This is PC at its worst.

Flinty, pm me about that drinkie sometime. I think you're in my general area.

I most definitely will, us SF/SV FB'ers have some work to do if we're going to overtake the Texas FB'ers as the cool, elite ruling class.
And I fart in Not Me's general direction.

Don't bother trying. There's not enough sun there to keep you in fighting trim. You should move back to Indonesia -- I bet Indonesian FBers could establish themselves as the cool, elite ruling class.

Jeez, you're from Texas too? That explains so little.

For your sake, I am happy that I didn't read this until after the edit.
Now stop posting, so I can be the last-named favorite all weekend.

We might be talking about two different things. The looks scale isn't about marriageability. It is about only looks, not anything more. It is just that women perceive rich successful men as looking better than than they really do. That is why they get 2 looks category bumps. If you are talking about marriageability, that is a different scale.
FYI - I am only talking about women in general here. There are always exceptions to every rule. I am one of them in that personality is more important to me than either looks or money. I know how bad that sounds on a board like this, but if a guy can make me laugh on a consistent basis, it bumps him at least 3 looks categories. I don't mean marriageability, either. I mean looks. When I look at him, he looks much better looking to me if he makes me laugh. Oh and if he thinks I am funny, that is worth at least 1 looks category bump.

His trust fund may very well be bigger than mine. I don't have anyway of knowing how much is in his so I cannot say.

Suddenly I find you very attractive.
You are now my favorite.

The pool of favorites is now too polluted for me to want to jump in.
How's that?

No, see, you don't understand what I am talking about. I am actually talking about looks. You are talking about wanting to be with someone for money. What I am talking about is biological. In general, women perceive men who are wealthy and more successful to be more attractive than their looks alone would warrant. Their perception of the man's physical characteristics is in part dependant on their perception of his status in life. It is as if there is an emotional filter between the retina and the visual cortex of a woman.
Men are more purely visual. What you see is less colored by your emotions. The visual stimuli goes directly from the retina to the optic nerve to the visual cortex and beyond without being filtered.
