Since this place is dead...

Another hypothetical question:

Internet gambling is illegal, right? So, let's say that I have been gambling (after funding via my credit card) at PartyPoker.com. I have been somewhat successful. When I cash out, what's the safest way to do it? What's my chance of being caught? Should I declare this as income on 2004 taxes if I cash out before the end of the year? I suppose it offsets gambling losses from traditional gambling, but I don't like the idea of a paper trail to my bank account...

Speaking of spas, did you get your vacation conflict worked out?

And, another thing I want for Xmas is for someone to unpack all my worldly possessions and install storage solutions in my cabinets. And tivo. And the phone to start working again.
Hmm. since the turmeric goes into your stomach, I am not sure if it stains the contents. Probably, but I don't care. The stain does not turn your skin orange, unless there is something that I can't detect in the mirror and others are not telling me.

I did get my vacation conflict worked out. Thank you for asking!

Just because SS likes to get fisted occasionally does not make him a "real perv" as long as he's not involving children or anything like that.

Intolerantist fuck.

I am probably whiffing too.

FWIW, my ipod gets stuck into the back waistband of my pants when I'm on the rowing machine, and it's gotten a little wet from sweat. Again, no problems, but it hasn't been submerged.

I surely am not worthy to hold Coltrane's lightweight running shorts, but I think you meant "fast." I have mad running skillz, but I do not run as far or as fast as he does. Maybe next year.

And it doesn't stain if you drop it on something? Apparently it does not turn your waste products a funny color like the uti painkillers. Good to know.

Set up an account with Neteller. Cash out to there, then to your bank account. Note that Party may have restrictions on how you can cash out (some places require the same method as cash in).

As for the chances of being caught, as long as you live in a state where they have actual crime, why worry about it? I can count on one hand the number of players charged for playing poker on the internet, and the one case I can think of is in North Dakota.
The bigger risk is not declaring the income on your tax return on the very off chance the IRS decides to audit you.

This is a popular subject on poker forums (fora?) this time of year, so you could probably get a more complete answer there.

I haven't dropped the capsule on anything, but I think the shell would protect it. Does not turn waste products a funny color, no.

Stuff Not Bob Wants

"I Am Charlotte Simmons" -- Tom Wolfe's new book.

One of those XM satellite radio thingies that Elton John is advertising (it can be portable, part of a home system, or in the car -- very nifty).

A coupon good for one of them 50 minute hours with my shrink, Dr. Watta Freudianslipp.

A nice work of art for the walls in my office. I want to replace the Podunk State degrees with something thought-provoking (yet which won't instantly offend my oh-so-conservative clients) and is not a reproduction.

A settlement of the NHL lockout. Or, more realisticly, world peace.

You fool. I have been running on a treadmill with the Ipod laying on the machine, vibrating, for months. I've also dropped the damn thing about 30 times. Keeps on ticking.
