TomKat - Hi Less!

I know, no one cares.

1. I love the cover.
2. Tom and Katie sleep in separate beds. And probably always did.

Quote:
Life & Style reports that Hollywood’s power couple isn’t always attached at the hip. In fact, an insider tells the magazine they don’t even share the same bed.

“There are plenty of times when they have a romantic evening together, and then go their separate ways when it’s time to turn out the lights,” the source says. “Katie complains that Tom snores like a bear, and he likes to stay up late reading.”

A rep for the twosome told L&S that there’s no truth to the not-so-close quarters claim, but the source insists, “When it comes to bedtime, (Tom and Katie) love their time apart.”

I care. Kinda. In that browse through the rags while in the checkout line way. (hyphenations hints?) Especially since I am back to working insane hours and haven't had any time to browse the rags while standing in the checkout line.

I'm looking forward to catching up on all the back issues of People magazine while I'm at my parent's house for Thanksgiving.

I do that at my mother in law's. Sometimes, she brings the People mags to me. Which is always appreciated.

I have to say Katie has shocked me. First the marathon, and just generally her strength. What I don't get is why she's with a batshit crazy brainwashed little man who jumps on couches.

One day it will come to me.

You and RT should try "Party Up" by DMX, but maybe that's just for lifting.

ABBA's fantastic. And sinister. In all the right ways. I love the group. I could listen to their greatest hits all day.

You haven't been late-nite fucked up and in a Mandalay Bay elevator lately, have you?

I'm not sure you understand how joint ownership actually operates.

They just like a wide variety of reading material. Mom gets People and Equestrian Today, while Dad subscribes to America.

Dinner table conversation can be fascinating.

No. I haven't been to that hotel.

But I'm not wrong, am I? There is a connection between Abba and Steely Dan and Little Feat and Blondie, is there not?

How do you consider walking 20 city blocks in an hour? "Work out" or "daily life exertion"?
That depends on your ejection fraction.

So speaking of parents, either singularly or plurally, I may not get to go home for Christmas, which makes me sad. My passport is about to expire, so being the good person that I am, I filed an application for renewal complete with non-smiling photos* and much documentation to substantiate my existence. Now my passport renewal application has been rejected because of a small shadow that appears behind my ear in the photos. So I have to refile, and the process could take a month or two. And there is no expedited renewal process for Canadian passports.

So for me it may be Christmastime with the cat this year. And possibly with my kind Jewish friend, if she does not go out of town. Waaahhhhh!!!

*the Canadian government prohibits smiling in passport photos. We are a stern bunch.

OK, maybe I am wrong, but are you not also a US citizen now? Is the backlog still that bad here, or are you not going to Canada?

I may be totally misunderstanding how the US stuff works for crossing the Canadian border; I thought they were temporarily letting you over if you could show you had applied for a US passport.

(1) and (2) I do not do; (3) I do do and do not consider "working out."
Shit, you're working harder figuring out the why that I am doing the walking.

I do these things because it's good to be active, it sucks to be in the office, and I've got stuff to do. Do I have an hour to kill? Hell, sometimes I kill an hour I don't have.
