I read it differently. I think he doesn't like the statute, and used this case to explain why those statutes, which have for some time been a controversial federal crime, are not particularly suitable to be kept as criminal statutes.
Quite possible, and not mutually exclusive.

True, but you seem to suggest the opinion would not be essentially the same had it been an overzealous prosecution of a republican.

I did not mean to suggest that.

eta: I did mean to suggest that Easterbrook's opinon would not be essentially the same but not for the substantial publicity the case received after oral argument.

Whatever, but hey, this might be something you can weigh in on doofus, if your boy Bush supports the people's right to carry concealed weapons so much, then why is there so much security detail whenever he makes a "public" appearance?

I mean, the only people who would be carrying a firearm would be his supporters, right? What's he so worried about? All your racist fantasy palistinian bombers?

He would have to die now for Bush to get someone on there. After about October, it's full stall mode.

he called me a racist, and denied that Palistinians are bombing people. You realize that he is mocking the well-intentioned, just misguided positions of at least several dems here, don't you?

I don't think that any of those things are violations of the ToS.

You must be joking. How many times a week do you pull the stupid "Democrats are going to turn us over to the evil Muslims" line? What exactly is it that you find so offensive about this poster that hasn't been said by others so many times before?
