I like Montblanc. I bought my boss one one year.
I think Gucci has an anniversary purse that is like 6K that is pretty on par with my esthetique.

The husband is currently in Dallas with nothing but a softsided carry-on and a computer bag. His stuff is going to get crushed by the 100 lb. luggage that people pack.
I told him to just leave crap at the hotel rather than ruining everything else.
He says he saw the coolest hotel ever - some place called the Gaylord something or other. Worth going to Dallas to see?

This is a joke? Coltrane put you up to engaging me in some Dallas rant? Gaylord is some giant convention monstrosity by the airport. Never been there, but I would say not worth the trip if wagering a guess.
We always stay at ZaZa there. Nice boutique hotel in uptown. But this time we (or only he, possibly) are moving to The W tomorrow night to check it out. It just opened there this summer. Starwood points, so that is good, but area is not as good as ZaZa area and seems like it will be a bit of a cluster because it is new. And New matters to people in Dallas (see and be seen, etc.).

I'm out. I have to try on pencil skirts and cashmere for the fall and new shoes.

I have a pal who flew halfway across the country yesterday for an interview, and the flew back last night. A day later and em would have been up shit creek, in concrete shoes.

Sigh. We will check on the way back. It is like you people don't even read the posts about my fascinating, fascinating life.
I will probably jsut pick up some cheap moisturizer at Walgreen's however. So I might not bring it back (but you couldn't have known that when you posted!!!).

Do you think they would have confiscated Billy Bob and Angelina's vials of blood that used to hang around their necks?

Donate it to charity. The need for smooth supple skin is not limited to the elite lawyer classes.

Originally, I read that last sentence as "effete lawyer classes."
Weird, that.

3. Project Runway. Now that's a great fucking show (or it would be without Heidi Klum, who appears to add nothing of value). The gay man who helps out and says Carry On is my new favorite person. Why has no one told me about this show? I depend on you all for this type of thing.
|
I have to admit to enjoying Project Runway as well. I got a bit hooked during the weekend season wrap up marathons last year, but I haven't been keeping up with the new season. Last season had the personalities to make it interesting, and, apparrently, some part of me is fascinated to see what they are going to make.
Heidi was pregnant and not all that heavily involved last season, leaving Tim Gunn (the Carry On guy) to carry the show, which definitely worked.

Jhane Barnes
What do we know about these suits besides the fact that I have no idea how to pronounce Jhane?

She is never all that heavily involved. Unless you count cashing the ridiculously large checks that she receives in your involvement equation. She's an Executive Producer, I believe. And I say good for her. I wonder if she and Tyra ever strip down to their VS intimates and roll around in their reality-tv cash together. Better or worse visual than a wet t-shirt fight in a fountain?

This is what I do when I bring coke, meth or pot on planes, and so far its never let me down.
Eitherwhichway, if you get caught I knew a good lawyer in DC for getting people off on TSA violations.
