That same model dated the owner of Cirque de Soleil, who flew us out to Vegas on his private jet where we hooked up with Less and got to see one of the shows from the best seats in the house.
How does that rate?

I'm holding off on the rating until you explain how the actor got into your room in the first place.

Really? You're going to make me pull out the big guns? Fine. I shared a hotel room in St. Petersburg with Spud Webb one Super Bowl weekend. He wanted to sleep with my girlfriend, but she wouldn't give it up. We were all best buds on Friday, friendly on Saturday, and decidedly distant on Sunday. Spud Webb, people. Grotto with Betty White, Southwest flight from Vegas with Vince Vaughn, St. Petersburg beach hotel room with Spud Webb. Does it get any better than this? I mean, other than if I slept with a Stanley Cup winner team captain.

1) The Governator has left me a few voicemails, the recordings of which I now have on my computer.
2) My ex-girlfriend, who was on the cover of Vogue and has had a lot of bit parts in movies and TV shows, after dating me, dated a women who was the six time kickboxing champion of the world. Yes that right, she swings both ways. She eventually broke up with the Kickboxer girlfriend but they stayed friends. The kickboxer had a fight in Vegas, so the ex, the kickboxer, the kickboxer new girldfriend, and I all went to Vegas where we hooked up with Less. We went to an after party where Less and I got to hang out with David Hasselhoff.
3) I sat with Greg Louganis, Kathleen Sullivan, Kelsey Grammer and his wife at an Emmy after party (at a club called the Gate). Greg Louganis was dating Steve Kmetco and Greg told me and my College buddy (who I had set up with a producer) about how when he and Steve first met, Steve was really emotionally bottled up, but he had gotten him more in touch with his feelings. It was my college friends first LA party and he was caught a little of guard. We heard a siren outside, and Kelsey Grammer asked me if I wanted to go follow the siren so I could maybe get a client, and then made jokes about how out of date my suit was (it was an Armani with a Nehru Jacket).
However, I don't think any of these come close to the Stanley Cup story.

I was a guest at the model's house. At the time I was living in Tokyo and she was my client and she let me stay at her house when I was visiting LA. I was always trying to get her to stop smoking pot (it made her really really paranoid) so her and a photographic agent (who was also my client) thought it would be funny to tell the A list actor I had some.
I don't think anyone thought he would just walk into a complete strangers room and wake him up. I didn't know who it was until I was told the next day.

Don't make me whip up my seemingly endless list of celeb ... encounters. Oh no, don't.
(ok, so in the last 12 months there have only been about 3 such encounters. but i still get the news that appears on "Us Weekly" about 4 weeks before y'all ... i'm sure you're incredibly jealous.)

Studio 60
At the end of tonight's show, there's a scene where Sting plays "Fields of Gold" accompanied on the lute. I think this scene serves as a perfect comment on Sorkin and the show.
First, both Sting and Sorkin are pretentious. Sting records an album of classical music, and Sorkin writes a TV show about a TV show to tell us why TV is wrong.
Second, both of them have their best work behind them. Sting was at his best back when I was in junior high and he was in the Police. (I can be persuaded that The Soul Cages outshone his work with the Police, but his solo albums that followed reinforced all of his bad tendencies.) Sorkin was at his best (and lightest) with SportsNight. (I can be persuaded that some moments of The West Wing eclipsed SportsNight, but there was so much heavy-handedness that reinforced all of Sorkin's bad tendencies.)
Third, drugs. Cocaine broke up The Police, and a host of drugs forced Sorkin to turn over The West Wing to John Wells.
Fourth, despite all their faults, the song was pretty, and the scene with Matt and Harriet worked. Both were very close to being bad, but they stayed good.
Having said all that, Friday Night Lights is better than Studio 60

I like Jack as a poster very much, and I was quite excited to see he agreed with me here. I was waiting for him to rip the two, but unfortunately his supporting analysis, was well, sort of pretentious, so it seemed to drift a little.
I am glad for the celeb threads. Once GWNC gets the collection of my best posts published, I'm thinking a movie deal will follow quickly- AND if I'm right about the leverage I'll have, I'm retaining casting authority. I don't mention that to keep the girls here nice to me, no I have a practical reason to raise the issue.
Slave, are you still in contact with Bijou Phillips? I'm thinking her brother Emo would be perfect for the Shape Shifter role, and wondering how to get with his people.

I am having a hard time picturing you in an Armani with a Nehru Jacket. Nehru is that little Mandarin stand up collar type single breasted, correct? Oh how funny.
Is kelsey Grammer's wife as good looking in person? Celeste right? Do you think the whole "I can't have kids because I suffer from IBS" is bs? A ploy to try to retain her figure? She is tiny.
